Serious question for the MW men. I putting together a "guy" RAK, made a pinky promise to do it. I would like to crochet a Disney beanie to put in it. My first thought was a Mickey beanie but would love suggestions. Dave - NO POOH! :-)
Thanks I had to look it up. From the looks of the creature, I think its tail belongs on a Davy Crockett hat but if it's what you really want Dave, I'll slave away just for you π - bugsmom1208 211.1 #1474 11:54PM
I'll toss out a vote for a Mad Hatter beanie. - John

I like it. A pirate beanie has lots of creative potential. Are you thinking skull and swords or something more elaborate! - bugsmom1208 211.1 #1474 1:08PM

Thanks! I'm stuck on Mickey just because I'm making one for my 10 month old nephew but I want to make something a guy would wear. - bugsmom1208 211.1 #1474 9:47PM
Oh Stitch is taking the lead. Plus it's my youngest daughter's (AKA 626) favorite character. I'm so glad I asked. So MW guys would really wear a Stitch beanie? I like the Star Wars idea too since it's the Star Tours Anniversary. - bugsmom1208

I think a mickey beanie would be cool, but without the ears. Maybe just the colors and the two dots? Ive always wanted a disney beanie, but dont like all the stuff attatched to them, ears, tails, etc... - zippitydoodahdad

Cheshire Cat. Simple purple/pink stripes, with eyes and smile in the front - SpencerPhreak

I don't think I have the skills to conquer Stitch. I am liking a simple Mickey (no ears, just the color combos), Jack, Cheshire Cat or a simple Buzz. - bugsmom1208 211.1 #1474 12:43AM
I'm seeing quite a few pics of guys in Buzz jackets so they must not mind wearing a tad bit of purple. I think I'll try a Jack, a simple Mickey and Buzz. The best looking one will go into the RAK. - bugsmom1208

I can't wait to see what you come up with. Text me pics when done. A Tigger one might work - orange, yellow, brown stripes? I had the same idea to use up my yarns. We need to get together, and exchange ideas. Have a great one. - Sugarbuzz

Thank you! I hope your weekend is great too! I think together we could create some great patterns and I definetly have enough yarn to keep us going for a year or two. - bugsmom1208 211.1 #1474 10:39AM
I'd like to see something from The Haunted Mansion, the ORIGINAL, nothing Skellingtonized. - BrattyMickey

I think this might turn into a hat RAK of the month. I want to make all of them! Since SugarBuzz and I are neighbors, maybe a joint endeavor. - bugsmom1208

I was telling hubs "YIPPEE! Somebody who has the same hobby as me, lives close, and likes Disney." that never happens. It would be fun to bounce ideas off each other. Share yarns to keep from buying more. - Sugarbuzz 48.2 #3793 11:15AM

I have quite a list going. I'm seriously thinking of a monthly beanie RAK. A friend told me 2012 is a pay it forward year. I hadn't heard about it but MW is a great place to pay it forward with RAKs hand made with love!! - bugsmom1208 211.1 #1474 1:16PM
bugsmom1208, I'm sure anything you crochet the men will love. (: Lucky boys... - LizOβ’
