Alright MW'ers, obviously Disneyland plays a huge role in each of our lives. So I'm curious, what is your favorite memory from the parks? Mine was the first time I took my niece, the look on her face when she first met Mickey was priceless.

When I got the call while at dl about the adoption finalization - lilo84  374.5 #366 5:21PM

When Bradley was 2 1/2. He LOVED pooh bear. We saw pooh, got in line to meet him and he went running with his arms out yelling " gotta hug a pooh!" It was soooo cute! - Minnis2Society  360.0 #388 3:25PM
Well he's 11 now and he always talks about 💩❕ - Minnis2Society  360.0 #388 5:21PM
Wow, it's hard to pick one... Right now my favorite memory of dl has to be when I proposed to my fiancé in front of the castle on new years eve last month. It's funny, as soon as I went on my knee it felt like everyone else disappeared and it was just us. All I saw was her ☺.It was also nice hearing people cheer and congratulate us afterwards. DL was already a special place for us, and now it's even more special, and we now have "our spot" in front of the castle lol. - MrYoda  27.3 #4501 5:25PM
Sitting with my dad on Space Mountain when I was about 7.  All I remember is him laughing and laughing the entire time. :) - Alicewhoareyou  536.0 #209 5:12PM
my family has me on home video kissing mickey, pluto, goofy, etc. on their big shiny noses lol but then again i was 3 so it wasn't weird aside from the germs part haha - rbeezy  653.6 #160 10:37PM
I have so many, but for this one I will go with when I first took my son for his 2nd b-day. The night before I allowed him to pick out one pre-birthday toy. One of the employees hands him a pooh bear the same size as him. I told him he could have it for his pre-birthday gift. When she heard me say that she got up and brought him the Mickey with the cake and candle that sings the birthday song. When he saw that one, he dropped pooh and grabbed Mickey. I don't even like pooh but I felt so bad. He just got tossed aside so quickly. - Lelundrial  341.0 #427 3:30PM
Well, its a toss up between the time my Mom was in the drivers seat on Indy and some guy behind us yelled "who's drivin' this thing? "And I pointed to her or the time my Sister and I were in line outside the elevators on Tot and some guy who'd never been on before was all scared cause his friends were making up.stuff about the ride and my sis started to go with it,then I really got him by saying "yeah, there's no seat belts in there and we all have to stand up and in the end we all end up in a pile on the floor!"Lol then my sis told himthat if anyone screamed we'd know it was him. He still went on though,so you gotta give him credit. Fyi,we went along with cause his friends were making hand signals to us so we'd know not to spoil the joke. Good times, great memories! - theRealDisneygirlforevr  175.3 #1923 3:30PM
Walking down main street at rope drop, pushing Alyssa in her stroller when she was 5 as Walts speech was playing. I looked over at my wife and we both had tears running down our faces. MAGICAL! - SuperCooper  818.1 #112 3:33PM
We werre at dl on 12/27/11 and watching the parade when chip and dale went by. One of them jumped put of thier car an ran straight over to my daughter and gave her the biggest hug then he trie getting the attention of the other to show off her shirt which had chip and dale on it. I have lots of memories, but probably the best was watching my little girl and her daddy riding on King Triton's Carousel during her first trip to the parks.  She loved her seahorse! - ThatKimberly  334.5 #451 5:11PM
Disneyland is more than an obsession. It's a lifestyle. Taking my kids and their first meet with Mickey.  - splashphotoCM  880.9 #101 5:16PM
There are many but I'd have to say getting to treat my mom to a Disney day for her bday was pretty special. Topped off by first time lily belle action. It was great. - WeMetAtDisneyLand  41.8 #3939 8:42PM
I'd say taking my dad to see world of color for his first time. - SorcererD91  476.1 #251 8:48PM
When I was 2 and Mickey danced with me at his house and all the times me and my cousins went to DL once a year when we were little and a couple years ago I went on splash mountain for the first time in the morning and we got soaked even our socks was soaked lol - princessVanessa  382.5 #351 8:49PM
Everytime I go to Disneyland it's as if I'm coming home after being away for so long. Thats my favorite part! Each vacation is filled with its own memories, so I couldn't just pick one time :) - AshleyLynn22  747.6 #136 9:13PM
I guess it would be when my parent's got married. I was four at the time but I remember my mom in her wedding dress and my dad in his suit standing at city hall at toontown. It was a magical memory for me. - princessmichelle  266.8 #856 10:22PM
