I love the fact that no two trips to Disneyland are the same. Yeah it's the same park, same rides, blah blah blah but there's that Disney magic that just makes you feel like a little kid experiencing it for the first time each time you go - OregonMouseHouse

It cast it's spell on me long ago. It's the part that keeps the child alive, even at 42. It reminds you that growing up doesn't mean growing OLD. - JustGoofyDad

JGD stop telling people how old you are! - Tinkaboudit
2168.6 #31 7:16AM

1049.5 #84 7:35AM
BLG. I agree with the aching joints. My mother's arthritis seems to be cursing me more often. Can't sit on the ground for too long or I can't get up. Hate when the doctor has to throw in "we're not as young anymore". Just dig the hole now is what he sounds like he's saying to me! - JustGoofyDad
2130.8 #32 7:35AM
I'm there when the doctor says that! Tee Hee! - Tinkaboudit
2168.6 #31 7:36AM

I fell in love with Disney as a child it was my escape from the real world. As an adult it changed. I fell in love with my husband there. We got passes the very first year we dated. It's my like my home. Disneyland and my grandmas house. They have something about them that make me feel like I've gone home. Dorky I know but you asked! - PrettyPixie
759.2 #133 7:56AM
I fell in love as a kid because DL is this huge city of anything & everything a kid could ever want or imagine! I fell in love all over again as an adult because I love spending time there with the one I where we can act like kids and when you walk in the gates all your worries just disappear! - Dreamseeker

It's the place where it doesn't matter how old you are. It's just a non stressful drama free place. - Lanigyrl16

My experience over the years became much more of a blessing really. My parents didn't really take my siblings and me much to theme parks when we were younger cause of work and having a "cheap" dad. The times I ever went were when someone has offered to pay for my ticket. Thats why I until this day am in love with Disneyland because as a child The closest I ever got to being there was thru t.v. Commercials. Now that I have a pass it's truly a blessing - Kingdomhearts209

I was raised on it. My grandmother is a huge fan and so I grew up watching Disney movies and going to DL. Except when I moved to Germany I couldn't go as often. But I did visit Disneyland Paris when I was there. - Heather

Good Soph, I first visited when I was 6-7 while my sis was being treated at UCLA. I loved the rides and atmosphere, just felt like make believe. I didn't visit again till I was 20, but have gone at least once a year since then. Every time I go, new memories are formed and we discover new things each time. I like the magic and wonder of "how did they do that". Disney will forever be a part of my life! - ToneLoc

We were really poor when I was growing up and we only went to Disneyland a couple of times when I was a little girl in the early '70's so it was quite the treat. When I walk down Main Street -because it has not changed- it makes me completely feel like I am 5 years old again. Disneyland seems to be the only constant in my life. - DesperateMousewife

I love it because I can be happy and entertained, I can leave my worries at home and just be a kid and have fun. I think I enjoy more now because of my kids and grandkids. - Diznimom

Disney has been a tradition of my family's since I was born; the first 6-7 years of my life I had Disney characters painted on my bedroom wall. Childhood was all about the movies and Disney Channel and the parks. - Jase

I went to DL many times as a kid. That stopped when I was about 11 and I didn't go back until I was 20 and I got to got for my niece and nephew's first trip. Although they weren't my kids I knew it was special to share it with them. After that I didn't got back for another 5 years when I took my daughter for the first time. Her first trip was what sealed it for me that DL would always be our special place. - BlueberryCrusader
