Would it be frowned upon if I took my iPad, iPhone and notebook to the grand ca lobby and just posted up and did some work for a couple hours?

I don't think you would get harassed at all. I took Jonah over last week and we just kicked back for a bit. There were also people sleeping in the couches!
We also have done the same at a certain spot at the DLHotel, it's very quiet and out of the way. It was 2 days after new years and only 2 ppl walked by in the half hour we were there! I'll tell you where, bit it's gonna cost you a churro ;)

When we go to the parks my kids and I hang out at the Grand till Daddy gets out of work. They watch the old school Mickey cartoons and I read a book or play with my phone. - UncoolBunny

I know people who did a whole day of work from the Grand lobby. As long as you are not sleeping, they are ok. If you fall asleep, after about 30 min the security gaurds will wake you to make sure that you are OK and dont need medical attention. - OutNumberedMom
