Hubs got the end of February off! I just booked the hotel! (Eden Roc, I'm a little scared by the mixed reviews...) Three very good friends have agreed to join us, two from Oregon, one from Nevada! I am unbelievably excited to celebrate leap year in 24 hour Disney fashion!
On another note: Magic Kingdom sent out an e-mail offer to annual passholders for a special offer to the first 1000 to claim. I guess they are giving out a set of ears on the 29... I'm curious if they will do something like this for Disneyland AP holders?!
Even with the retro rate on one day I can't afford the Hojo! - cynDOLEwhip

How much is Eden Roc /night? - Jenniferr 428.0 #294 11:32PM
$59 is the cheapest I have seen anywhere around disneyland. Even cheaper than motel 6 over near angel stadium. I think the only other cheaper place than HoJo retro rate is super 8 that's driving distance. But then again I have never used places like hotwire to get discounted room because we always stay at HoJo with 50% off retro rate. - ImAlwaysCrazy 646.4 #166 11:33PM
We got a two room suite with three beds at the Eden Roc for three nights for less than $150! We usually stay at the Super 8 and it suits my family fine but we have 5 adults this trip and we aren't taking our son so I thought we'd take a gamble on the cheap room! - cynDOLEwhip 744.1 #137 4:22AM
I'm staying there for the first time😄 - ReachForTheSky

HoJo is the best! They are giving us lowly Mwers the retro rate for march 1st! - ImAlwaysCrazy

We're staying at the Eden Roc for the first time too in the beginning of Feb. I figure it can't be much worse than the HoJo in Stanton... - DodgerAndRita

I stayed at the Eden roc ( I'm a broke unlv kid ok!) and Ill tell you the bathroom are the worst but the walk is pretty good. Take the street that passes between the Cali grand and paradise pier and it will pop you right out to Disney. They do have mini frige and microwave but I probably won't stay again due to hard beds/dirty bathrooms. When it comes down to it no one really spends time in the room when going to Disney! - hitchhikingghost

Also would like to add do not stay at Eden roc if you have kids! It was ok for me and my bf, but I would cringe thinking of a kid there:( - hitchhikingghost 5.2 #10140 11:42PM
Yeah that's why we no longer stay sr super 8 ir motel 6. We only stay at HoJo when rooms are $59. When its more and we cant afford it we stay at super 8 then but never again at any motel 6! The super 8 is nice when you are just sleeping there. But if we plan on multiple nights we do HoJo. Its walking distance and very clean. And very comfy beds. - ImAlwaysCrazy 646.4 #166 11:44PM
Thanks for the tips! Our son won't be with us this trip so we're taking the gamble! - cynDOLEwhip 744.1 #137 4:24AM
I always use priceline. I learned how to do the name your own price on mw! Never pay more than $55 a night. And have yet to be disappointed! Love it! - ruhkel

We do that too. We have stayed in some really nice hotels around the park, never for more than $55 either! - ladylikesdisney 921.5 #95 11:52PM
Next time we take our son we will definitely try the Hojo if the price is right. Especially when it's warmer so we could enjoy the pool! I just wish they had a continental breakfast. It always saves us time and money in the mornings! - cynDOLEwhip

We've stayed at the Plaza Inn and Suites, $59/night and clean, friendly service. No frills at all but for our DL trips, unless we are celebrating something, we just want a clean room with a comfy bed! - LisaMouse7531
