My first memory of DL is from the eticket days. Our neighbors came home from DL for dinner, then were returning to the park. They offered to take me with them to see the parade since admission was free. The only thing I recall about the electrical parade was that (in my memory) all the lights on the floats were red! My first DL memory is my whole family going to DL for my 7th bday. So sorry you had an awful day :( My awful day was yesterday, and I spent today recovering. (it's full moon on Monday, you know). I don't know about my first Disney memory, it seems like Disney has always been a part of my life. First movies and the record albums with pictures that they would sell at the theater. Then long road trips to Disneyland every couple of years. Then as I got older and our family seemed to grow more dysfunctional, Disneyland was once of the few places we would all get along and be able to spend time together and enjoy each other.
