๐ I've had an awful day today. I would love to hear something that lifts my heart. Tell me about your first memory of Disney and why you fell in love? Mine was when I went to see Bambi in the theatre sometime in the mid 70's. I felt so much emotion in my young little heart.
My first memory of DL is from the eticket days. Our neighbors came home from DL for dinner, then were returning to the park. They offered to take me with them to see the parade since admission was free. The only thing I recall about the electrical parade was that (in my memory) all the lights on the floats were red! And I remember the beautiful dancers! I have no pictures of that trip, but the images in my head are some of my favorite Disney memories. - Mimmy

I remember E-tickets! We use to fight over them haha I also remember being completely entranced by the electrical parade. To this day I get tears of joy in my eyes when I hear the music. - KissDclown 1088.1 #77 11:56PM
Awww! Hope u feel better soon!! The first thing "Disney" that I remember is going to the movies to watch lion king:/ nothing special... My first DL memory is my whole family going to DL for my 7th bday. Now my family is more broken than a bag if bones๎ but that memory is so nice to hold on to ๎ฎ - vanGoghsStarryNight

So sorry you had an awful day :( My awful day was yesterday, and I spent today recovering. (it's full moon on Monday, you know). I don't know about my first Disney memory, it seems like Disney has always been a part of my life. First movies and the record albums with pictures that they would sell at the theater. Then long road trips to Disneyland every couple of years. Then as I got older and our family seemed to grow more dysfunctional, Disneyland was once of the few places we would all get along and be able to spend time together and enjoy each other. It was a healing place for us. - PrincessKristin
