Jolly Holiday Bakery:
A lot of the newer fresh fare that has been making a hit in the park. A lot of the baked goods are the same as from the Blue Ribbon Bakery with a few new additions like flourless chocolate cake and Mickey head chocolate tarts. The oven roasted turkey is a turkey press, still tasty regardless. The accompanying chips are in fact made on site and fabulously crispy and salty. The Jolly Holiday Combo wich consists of tomato basil soup and a grilled chese sandwhich is a let down. The portion of the soup to start in only 4oz, while it's hot and creamy it's lacking that zing of acidity from the tomato, it also lacks any major seasoning partially due to the need to please the greater public palette (forgivable). The grilled cheese sandwhich however was a complete fail. Remember the kraft commercials with the oily cheese vs. kraft milky cheese? This is that "other" cheese. The bread is plain white bread, barely grilled and more stale than grilled. Disapointment. The new pastries however are in true Disney fashion as being rich and decadent. I hope I gave you some insight as to what to expect for your visit. Cheers!
Thanks for the info ") hopefully with peoples comments they'll get better. I felt the same about the pasta at the one across silly simphony swings... Paradise something or other.. and I've noticed an improvement on the seasonings... - TikiJOSEsWingman

Thanks for your review. I wanted to get the toasted cheese sandwich with tomato soup I went next but I think I'll pass and try something else. - JenInWonderland

Honestly, when the buzz dies down and if the start doing it to order it will probably get better. I wish they offered whole wheat/whole grain as an option. They could have also had done the grilled cheese in a panini press for a crisper seal and better presentation. - DuffysJuju 627.4 #173 10:21PM
I had the Caprese sandwich. It was very good, but could have had more mozzarella & basil spread. The chips were delicious!! - Gia

I agree. The turkey sandwich was more bread than turkey. I asked for a sandwich with no tomato. Rather than make me a new one, they simply took the tomato off a pre-made sandwich. The chocolate cream cheese bar was good though. - LilSterner

Oooh. See that kinda bugs me. What of someone had an allergy to tomatoes. Not trying to start drama or bag on Disney IN ANY WAY, just wondering - melissa_ficent 317.9 #530 3:01AM
I'm sure if you told them, they woul make a new one - Starr 549.9 #201 3:02AM
