I'm ready to head back to DL as crowds start to thin! (I enjoy the days with shorter hours and less ppl) my question: does Disney observe/ hold special events for mardi gras? I would love to go around that time in feb and that would be icing on the cake if they do! I don't see info about such on their site. Ps not google image! That's me! Haha;)
I visited around that time in 2011..in NOS, they had a short parade/show featuring PrincessTiana. They also have lil stands selling beads, masks, beignet mix & NOS is decorated. Some of the characters dress up, too. - luvMickey

When Queeny was performing, she and The Bachelors would parade through NOS and throw out beads. Hopefully they'll bring them back this year. - happyhaunt
