So lately the lounge has been filled with controversy. New people feeling they are being attacked. People wanting to defend others. Old schoolers wanting it like it use to be. Look, this is an app that was created by a man, built up by its founding members, and a growing organism that is expanding by leaps and bounds. It is open to all and no one is made to stay or go. From my understanding there has always been drama and there always will be the chance of more as long as we have the human factor involved. To restrict those that where here before you would change the very fabric of this app we have grown to love. As in real life one must think about their actions and the things these actions might cause. I my self tried at one time to "save" the newbies as many can attest to. It is a lost cause because soon enough your the one in the sights. I will tell you that it all comes out in the wash if one can thicken their skin, expand your sense of humor, and hold on tight. Because MW is an emotional roller coaster. Your gonna love it, hate it, and eventually come to terms that it is unlike anything else. My two cents. Love you all.....even those I don't like. };)
People cause drama in a iPhone app chat room because they have nothing better to do with their lives. I've been attacked numerous times and iv just blocked those people. Why would I want to see negativity in a DISNEYLAND app. Take the high rode and don't stoop to their low level. - JessicaRabbit89

Evil, i comepletley see your point but my pov is that I do get the jokes, I see the funny side of some of the stuff that is said. I get the sarcasm but for a new person to come in here and not have any idea who these people are or them knowing who these new people are, we shouldnt be so OUT THERE with them until we get to know them. I am plenty sarcastic with people i know, not people I dont know. I don't want to offend anyone for that reason. Once I get to know you, then my sarcasm comes out.You never know who you're gonna come across in here and it doesn't seem to bother anyone who gets offended and how light its made. What if one day a disney family member comes in here and says "the wrong thing" and everyone starts in on them like ive seen in the past. They don't understand that its simple humor or sarcasm or some inside joke. and inside joke is only funny to the people involved, not to outsiders. - mochamistie

I couldn't agree more. "Inside jokes" and sarcasm are funny when they are used among people who know each other. But, when they are turned on new people who inadvertently say something "wrong"...it's not funny. I am one who will never see the humor in a group of people making others feel stupid or unwelcome...so I have made good use of the block feature. I can scroll past dozens of googled photos and repetitive questions...but seeing people being attacked makes me feel sick inside...I have chosen to block those who do that on a regular basis and my MouseWait experience is once again a happy one. - vernswifevickie 374.1 #378 6:20AM

Love you evils! This hits it right on! If I was so offended the first tine I saw drama here I would have never come to know so many great people! I would have never met some of my MW bff's. Everyone needs to realize one thing. Unless you have met someone in person, you DO NOT know them. Yeah there is sarcasm! Yeah there is tone! Yeah there are "fights" in the lounge. But if you dont like someone just because of words that are "typed" up. And hou have a certain view of someone. I say meet them in person. I got the app back in Nov of 09 also. I didn't start posting until a few months later but I totally remember how it was when it was brand new. I don't post much. But I'm always lurking. I don't live near the parks so I don't enter wait times and I don't have Facebook so my rank stays low. That's one reason I kind of wish there was no rank.
