#UPDATED NEWS- New Year's Eve at Disneyland!!- Saturday night will be a special night as many guests ring in 2012 at Disneyland. PARK HOURS: Disneyland: 8am-2am; Disney California Adventure: 10am-1am. PARKING: Due to the high amount of guests, guests are encouraged to walk to the Mickey & Friends lot. Guests traveling in wheelchairs or those in need of assistance. Fliers will be handed out at the structure for the walking routes. The Toy Story lot buses will operate as usual. COUNTDOWN LOCATIONS: There will be many locations to watch and countdown to 2012. These locations are: Sleeping Beauty's Castle, It's a Small World Mall, the Rivers of America, Tomorrowland Terrace, ElecTRONica, Paradise Pier/ World of Color and Downtown Disney. CLOSURES: Mickey's Toontown will close at 8:00pm and will not reopen. ENTERTAINMENT: Guests wanting to see a special version of WOC that night, must get a special "Countdown FP" from the usual machines that day. Tickets are first come first serve. The usual WOC show will follow the NYE version; IASW Mall- DJ playing Top 40 hits from 7:00pm-2:00am; Carnation Plaza: Jump, Jive and Boogie; TLT: Suburban Legends; ROA: Random Acts of Disney (sounds interesting)- between showings of Fantasmic; Castle- DJ and the DL Ambassadors 9pm-12am; Fireworks- 8:45pm (pending); DCA- ElecTRONica- 6pm-1am; PP- Tim Grim All Star Band and other boardwalk sideshow acts- 6pm-12am. If you do plan to come, come early!! And if history repeats itself, it will be VERY, VERY, VERY crowded and hand stamps will be mandatory if you want to hop parks or want to re-enter either park at a later time. Have a safe and magical New Year!!!

Here is AZ we usually do the Dick Clark countdown and we'd rather watch a park count down :) I know in past years they cut to a view of fireworks at the castle, but no real count down.
