Disneygirl - I think beanies are the easiest first project because they crochet up fast. And I think a double crochet stitch is the easiest first stitch. Oh, the loom that I bought goes to 4" and came with an "I" hook, so it can be done with bulkier yarns and larger hooks for scarves, shawls, skirts, shirts, etc. Have I convinced you? 8o) - Sugarbuzz 44.4 #3873 8:21PM

Probably dropped the stitch at the end when turning. Until you get the hang of it, count each row. Maybe start small like a washcloth, less to count. Also, not as long as a scarf. Keep trying. - Sugarbuzz 44.4 #3873 7:54PM
