We are taking our oldest to DL for her birthday this year (leap day) and were wondering who else has done birthday parties at the resort? Any recommendations? Happy thoughts.
If you stay at a Disney hotel let them know before you arrive and they have special items for her and call room service and order a bday cake and they will bring it to your room just order it 24 hours before you want it have fun - cowboygoofy

Adorable picture! We have done several birthday celebrations at DL. First we make sure to go to City Hall and get a birthday button and birthday greeting. Then they get to pick out a new autograph book. From there the day is up to them. From which rides to ride (did astroblasters 30 times in a day once) to what they want to eat. Most of the time they want to do a character meal. Be sure to mention you are celebrating a birthday when making your PS. Most of all, have fun and make them feel special on their special day! - Disneycrazymom

Mickey, Minnie, Daisy & Stitch were at breakfast. They were very attentive to all - adults included. My 3 year old has been terrified of the characters and Stitch played & played with her til she warned up to him. By the end of breakfast, she was up at the front dancing and looked for characters for the rest of our trip. - bugsmom1208
