Does anyone else feel bad for all the CMs that have to work Christmas Day? I had to work *every* holiday when I was delivering pizza... I even had a hard time getting off fourth of july after working thanksgiving, new years (day and eve), christmas (day and eve).
For all you CMs out there working on Christmas, I'm sorry!

If I had to work on Christmas Day, DL would be the place I'd want to be working! My husband is fortunate that he works in postop so the surgeons dont work weekends or holidays so neither does he, but many of his Shipmates as well as other military branches have to work holidays and get no extra pay for it. - TickledTink

My niece likes to work with her cm family on holidays. They have potlucks on their breaks and great times with the guests. It's what you make of it. She volunteers. Make sure everyone thanks their cm's for making the day magical. - sewedna

Don't feel bad for the Cast members that love their job, and love what they do. It's not work. It's going to your favorite place, & doing what you love to do regardless of what day it is. It's fun, and enjoyable. I don't get to spend Christmas with my family this year because I work, but I LOVE what I do, so it fill that emptyness I would have if I was working elsewhere. - TiffyMarie

I'm happy that I'll be working Christmas eve in the morning so I can have dinner with my family at night and Christmas day at night so I can open gifts with them :) I'm kinda bummed that I have to work my birthday (new years eve) but at least I'll get to wear the Happy Birthday Button ^__^ lol - CMWalker

I was always willing to work holidays but because we got 1.5x minor holiday pay and 2x major holiday pay. So if they get holiday pay...no I don't feel sorry for them. Plus, they chose to work there. - KissDclown

Agree, we know the nature of the beast when we signed on and it is explained to you during the hiring process. Scheduling does a great job and you can always have either day or night with family. When I was a L.E.O. it was the same thing. - splashphotoCM 880.9 #101 1:59PM

I worked Christmas Eve, Christmas night, new years eve, and new years day. The CM were cooling working with each other; but I did notice much crankier guests. Given I worked on the trams, so people just wanted to get to there car. I've seen some crazy stuff. People fight over a seat!!
