I think education is important. But I also feel it is a priviledge and not a right. I spent most of my life in public schools in very poor areas and had to fight hard for my gifted education programs. Instead of supporting the kids that are going to change the world it seems the US would rather lower its standards across the board so we can say we have the highest number of graduates. If we treated the medical profession the same way we treat our teachers we wouldn't hve a country left because we'd all be sick and dead. - BlueberryCrusader  650.7 #161 7:55PM
