Geesh! Reread my comments. No soapbox here. I was responding to others comments, and from the looks of my posts nothings political either, just facts. Ive read the rules, maybe you should to, because I'm sure theres a rule about being rude. - buddygreen 6.4 #8725 1:24PM
Splash is a good guy buddygreen so no worries, he's just venting cause he's sick of seeing my Mug get bumped every day! Lol - donnievegas 1127.5 #72 1:41PM

Shut up! Who let Nancy Grace into MW? - Nyghtngale
547.8 #204 12:44PM
Thats not nice. Oh and Nancy Grace doesn't cover politics, shes the reporter that goes after lost kids and other weirdos that hurt kids. So... Your comment doesn't make much sense. Peace Love N Mickey Ears to you too! - buddygreen 6.4 #8725 1:16PM
I'm referring to the fact that Nancy Grace starts arguments and forces her opinion on others. Which you are doing and no one really cares to hear you complain about prices. Complaining is against the rules here, so suck it up and move on. There's a reason why the tickets are expensive, to make it that not EVERYONE can afford it. If everyone could, the park would be packed every day. Just think outside of the box instead of trying to twist this into some political debate. - Nyghtngale 547.8 #204 2:02PM
Goes back to the you can please some of the people some of the time.. ..statement. - Katrayher

Beware for higher prices! Can you believe they raise them every year? This year they changed the price from 400 to 475 and if you do monthly payments its now 39.00 a month. Grrr Disney.. Things are so expensive everywhere in and out of the parks (when its a Disney item), and all Disney items are made in China. I would like to know, where does all the $ go to? Shouldn't it be enough to make ticket prices lower? Idk just a lil venting, I renewed mine Friday, and was like... The new price is what? - buddygreen

I think it's worth every penny :) - Jillian 765.4 #129 11:48AM
FYI not a place to vent about price increase bcuz you know we'll pay the price any way because we love it so much - MarshaMouse 2870.9 #15 11:50AM
It's called corporate greed and unfortunately all corporations get away with it because we all just except it And pay the new prices year after year - Kurt76 32.4 #4267 12:04PM
Worth every red cent. I buy American. - splashphotoCM 880.9 #101 1:12PM
It's true, I payed it too. However, I feel like the price is not reflective of Walt Disneys love for Disneyland instead, it reflects the monopoly of the Disney corporation and the money hungry people who work for the big whigs. Watch the movie, "motel kids of Orange County." Then maybe this point about price increase would be understood. Most people that work here only get paid minimum wage, and as it shows in the movie some don't even make enough to afford rent on an apartment and have to live in the motels surrounding Disneyland. I'll pay the prices, but I would really like to see the money go to the right things and people, and jobs in China and families that are forced to live in Motels accross from, the Happiest place on earth are not them. Peace, Love and Mickey ears - buddygreen

The money isn't for charity it's for entertainment and production. - HotDiggityDogDaddy 1112.2 #74 12:04PM
That's business for ya. - Jillian 765.4 #129 12:06PM
Wait, if there's studio apartments for rent in Anaheim for 800 or less that would be 26 a day... where are there motels near Disney that are cheaper than renting? Are they the type of place you wouldn't want to stay? - Chris_E 25.6 #4611 12:07PM
Annie was right, it is a hard knock life! But I'm not sure about the charity comment. People should get paid a comparable price to what the company is worth and in a time like now, where USA and Cali needs all the money we can get and we need to expect Disney toys to be made in our Country. Not a lot to ask. I love Disney but I also love Things that make sense and are fair. And sometimes Disney doesnt make sense. - buddygreen

this applies to 99% of companies. please don't come to MW to knock on Disneyland and HOW they run their business. It is YOUR choice to go to the parks. This app is supposed to be about Vacation Atmosphere and joy and happiness. - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint 1799.3 #42 12:15PM
Nobody forces me to buy APs for myself and family.Disneylamd isnt cheap to operate.I belive that for what I pay esch year is still a great value. - Motorboatrider
37.8 #4068 12:14PM
All I know is that lower ticket prices would mean massive, unbearable crowds likely leading to the park being closed down on most days. I will never complain about the ticket prices. - Bo22
331.1 #469 12:20PM
and, we all know what sort of "quality" you get from the less expensive places, right??? - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint 1799.3 #42 12:22PM
So true... And the crowds already get nuts cuz of the monthly payment option. - buddygreen 6.4 #8725 12:26PM
As an AP holder and have been for years ( I can remember it at $99.00 for a premium) I just renewed all 6 for almost $3000.00.
This is our Xmas presents to our kids. I live DisneyLand! But wish it was a bit cheaper. - Fantasmic! fan1

Wowza! Yes I remember the premium being 200, and that was 10 years ago. What a great Christmas present to your family. Its very pricey but at least this Christmas gift keeps on giving. That's a lot of Disney Dollars though ;) - buddygreen 6.4 #8725 12:31PM
This is my first year as an AP holder. I decided to go with premium and feel like it was a great deal. Free parking, discount on food, and discount on purchases.I don't know much about working for Disney. Do they give their employees benefits? If they're giving employees health benefits, this is a huge thing. A lot of people who've always had insurance don't understand how bad it is to live without it. - Chris_E
25.6 #4611 1:05PM
Full time employees do, and it can take years to reach that status. Otherwise it's mostly minimum wage. - AWholeNewWorld 253.7 #976 1:07PM
Better than Dominos where they had me scheduled 35 hrs, working 40 but I wasn't considered full time because I wasn't *scheduled* 40 hrs! So... zero benefits except 40% off pizza. - Chris_E 25.6 #4611 1:14PM
Ahem... I love having my premium passes. No schedule to check, valet parking (just kidding), nice discounts, and all the Disney you can handle! - Plumiegirl

I love my Premium pass too. For some reason this thread keeps getting bumped to the top and the order of my comments are all scrambled. It's funny but at least ppl are speaking their minds. Trust me- I love my pass- had it for years, I go all the time and know it's worth :) Peace Love N Mickey Ears :) - buddygreen 6.4 #8725 1:33PM
