what is it with dl that they have to be in control of everything.? Crowd control. Do we really need someone telling us which side of the sidewalk we should walk on? I love dl and all things Disney but come on.

It would be a mad house without all the wonderful CMs telling us where to park it and stroll it. Disney does crowds so well. - cynDOLEwhip  744.1 #137 5:01PM
I agree!! I love that cm's control the crowds or else it would be total madness! - crazydaisy  221.2 #1339 7:30PM
They know what they are doing. It is for the benefit of all guests. - jacdanfan  2607.4 #19 7:44PM
Respect the CMs doing that. They have so many people being rude to them. My CM friend got shoved out of the way today. - BCC  4640.4 #5 8:12PM
I'm doing it new years eve😳 - CxD_CM  518.6 #224 8:18PM
Maybe it's controlled chaos, lol - topdisneymom  239.7 #1114 4:56PM
Of course We need crowd control even with CM's tell ppl what way to go u still get that random idiot going the wrong way - HanLostLeia  1092.5 #75 6:57PM
when thinking about the temporary entrance into DCA, staying on the left is actually the most logical thing to do. The guests leaving will be able to get to the gates easily. Otherwise there would be chaos of the people coming in getting in the way of those leaving. The people leaving would have to get around those sorry butts coming in,just to leave.  - Starr  549.9 #201 5:15PM
Starr is 100% correct. - SergZak  3125.8 #13 5:29PM
Thank you for you mw that stuck up for us cm! We do gc because we want things to run smooth and not crazy and a big mess. So please don't argue with us cm just do it - CM_DJDopey  23.0 #4805 6:28PM
Did you have Nike's permission to use that? - Mouse4life  1037.7 #82 6:40PM
You'd be surprised how many people don't know how to walk to the right. - RadioMaverick  526.7 #218 7:11PM
**sits back and waits while eatting a churro** - mralexv  306.5 #576 4:57PM
That's a good name for it. Haha - mattc  180.8 #1851 4:57PM
Without crowd control it would be a mess. Have you ever tried to walk the opposite direction against many people. Very difficult - Madi  204.0 #1571 4:59PM
Yes we do. There number one priority is safety and to keeps large numbers of people moving smoothly. As "annoying" as it is at times, if they didn't do it, I think it would be worse. - Sweet_Irish_Cream  2523.4 #23 5:00PM
I agree - donnievegas  1127.5 #72 5:02PM
I think were all smart enough to figure it out! - mattc  180.8 #1851 5:01PM
Disagree. I have seen some shockingly stupid things done when people are left to their own means in large crowds. - cynDOLEwhip  744.1 #137 5:03PM
You would surprised... - mralexv  306.5 #576 5:03PM
LOL!!!!!! - CarmenINwonderlanD  252.2 #988 5:20PM
You're joking, right?! I've seen people do some pretty dumb stuff when they panic in a crowd. - Spoonful_O_Sugar  435.8 #283 6:23PM
Disagree, not everyone frequents the happiest place on earth as much as some of us MWers and there are many 1st time guests who would have no clue otherwise. It's not annoying that the CM's help us...annoying is the person who stops right infront of u in the middle of the crowd then gets mad when u run into them with your stroller.....someone needs to invent people brake lights! LOL - CM_Tamstirr  314.1 #541 7:04PM
Agrrr people break lights! Who stops in the middle of all these people moving. Moove to the side grrrr - ScarfGirl  551.6 #199 7:36PM
Why is the MAN always tryin to keep us down? - Mouse4life  1037.7 #82 5:03PM
Holla! - donnievegas  1127.5 #72 5:06PM
It's amazing the amount of people who put there common sence in the freezer at home before they go out in public so be thankful there's someone out there guiding them - cowboygoofy  211.5 #1459 5:04PM
Eh, I like it because I really don't like people walking into my kid, and when they split up the crowds going in tow different directions it lessens that. - madsdad  1120.6 #73 5:06PM
I guess you're right..I don't want someone crashing into my kids... - mattc  180.8 #1851 5:18PM
Yeah.. you'd be amazed at how clueless people are when walking in heavy crowds lol. Think Simba in the stampede scene.. - Jacqueline  546.7 #204 5:26PM
How else do they control you? They don't tell you what to eat or ride or where to tinkle. They want to control where you walk when it's crowded. Big deal. - LaneSparrow316  846.9 #107 5:36PM
Yes they do!. Be glad they don't have the old dress code they use to enforce. Most people have no clue how or where to walk when its crowded. Tons of strollers, especially the double wides, and families and groups that want to walk 3 abreast. - splashphotoCM  880.9 #100 6:13PM
Dress code? Am I really that young? I have never heard of a dress code. - goducks68  13.3 #5955 6:15PM
yes. - nicoleface  1247.5 #65 6:16PM
YES crowd control is necessary, and they do this very well. 10 years ago, they hadn't perfected it yet, and I remember standing still in front of the Emporium in a crowd of hundreds(felt like it!) for 20 minutes or more just to get out... And it was like that often back then! - islandgrace50  4.3 #12356 7:41PM
Many companies turn to Disney for advice on crowd control and parking. Why? Because they are the best! - debzdo  19.1 #5145 8:09PM
Disney with crowd control and the traffic laws get to me too! Why would anyone possibly want everyone to go the same way?!? Dang them! - disney3  46.8 #3813 8:16PM
