QUESTION: what HOTEL do you or your family stay at when visiting the park and WHY?
I'm staying at the Ramada this NYE , and I chose this hotel because it is directly across the street from entrance. ;D
Once a year for our long trip, we stay at the resort. There's nothing better than being that close. For our short trips throughout the year, we find the good neighbor hotel with the best deal. We are definitely gonna check out the HoJo next time due to its MW friendliness. - Mouse4life

Next time I plan on staying at Hojo or any of the dl hotels. But normally I stay at any hotels right across the street.last trip it was the castle inn - NeverlandTink

It's a balance. We justify it because our kids are small so we are in and out of the room all day. there is a lot of fun stuff to do at the resort hotels if you want to get out of the parks. - Mouse4life 1037.7 #82 2:21PM
We always stay on site because I'm a spoiled princess. I love the Grand having a balcony that looks into the park is beyond fabulous! The view at the PPH. The headboard at the DLH. - SueBayou

Because we come so far and usually stay for a week, we always stay at a Disney hotel. Used to be DLH, but we've switched to the Grand for the past 2 years because of the construction - now I think that we're hooked! - msdizmaui

We always stay at the GCH. It's convenient with lil ones and it's a gorgeous hotel. It's a bit pricey but if you're an AP holder, you get a discount. - firemomof2

First couple of times we stayed at the Fairfield, embassy suites south, and last month Hilton Anaheim...I would love to stay at a Disney hotel, but we stay 2 weeks when we visit, and have to pay for plane ticket and car...maybe our short 4 day trip next year we will stay at a Disney hotel...in wdw we stay at a Disney resort - islandgirl58
