This Walt Disney photo was taken when the Rivers of America was stocked with Catfish. They stopped stocking it because people didn't want to lug their catch around the park all day.
Great photo! But I am glad they don't do the fishing thing anymore...can you imagine what it would smell like? - Jillian

I was wondering if anyone one would notice!😄 - Wizard 81.6 #3262 4:54PM
There are still little things in the park that are fishing related/themed. It was really neat to notice them on my last trip! - Wizard

I'm pretty sure the little fish in the pond areas are mosquito fish. Lots of places that have non-chlorinated, non-flowing water ways use them to eat mosquito larvae. As of this past summer, there are catfish in the pond outside the enterance of frontierland. You cant see them unless they come up to eat. I would
feed them bread and popcorn :) - WhyIsTheRumGone 68.6 #3440 6:29PM
