Hi! Has anyone stayed at the Double Tree by Disneyland? My husband gets a great government rate, but I am worried it it really far from the Parks. Any feedback would be great! :)
If its the Double Tree off of The City Drive, it's pretty nice. Yes, no where near walking distance, but it's a short drive to the Toy Story lot. It's a good spot if you get it for a great - BroncoBob

By the way not really within walking distance. If it the one off state college. - MeAndMy3Girls 176.4 #1905 6:22PM
That is st college and chapman. You would probably need a car or taxi if they don't have a shuttle. - Plumiegirl 3322.0 #10 6:33PM
We've not stayed there because with two little ones it was a long walk. Are you military? Is that the government rate your talking about? If so, most of the hotels offer great rates..... Including the DL hotels that are much closer. We have stayed at the Camelot before using the military rate and it was much cheaper and very close and the walk was super easy! I know thats not the exact answer you were looking for. - Cinderellamomma

He is a police officer so it is just a government rate. Not sure if it is the same thing as the military rate. The deal is $101 with free breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children each morning. I just don't want to be a mile away! lol - linnyrae 166.8 #2054 6:42PM
They probably have a shuttle to the park - KissDclown

We've stayed there a few times and like it. We have AP's and drive to Mickey and Friends lot. But I think they have a shuttle to DL. - AZDisney

We would have to take a shuttle. We have AP's but not the parking. :) - linnyrae 166.8 #2054 6:54PM
Have you checked the Fairfield across the street from DL? Try their Govt rate. 3 min to gate, & lots of restaurants. I stay their all the time and they had a good coppers rate. What dates? - splashphotoCM

Anytime brother, I punched in a mid week rate and got 84 bucks too. Was just going to txt you. What Dept? LOL I just looked abv and obs the date, I put in dec 5-7. - splashphotoCM 880.9 #100 7:24PM
There are other hotels in the area that may be cheaper w/your rate but usually lots of people and noisy. Fairfield just went through a makeover. Enjoy. We may also be in the park around then. - splashphotoCM 880.9 #100 7:46PM
