WOW! Imagine how much money Disneyland makes just in parking?!? Like isn't it $15 per car? And looking in the parking lots that's a lot of cars!!! *sudden realization* haha 

But remember alot of the cars in there don't have to pay. I love my premium pass - goofball  450.1 #274 4:23PM
True but still. My family and I don't have to pay because my grandma is a cast member @ the Walt Disney studios and we get free parking and free tickets. :D - AmandaPanda10146  5.4 #9880 4:31PM
If you have a premium pass you still pay. You just payed all at once. - MissErikaRae_CM  285.5 #699 5:23PM
Most of the money is made in merchandise, ODV and other services inside Disneyland. Disneyland has over 20,000 CMs. Consider all of them working 8 hour shifts at 9.05 an hour. (That's not true. some CMs make 11.05, 20,40 an hour, but let's use the base line.) That's $181,000 an hour on labor alone for ONE HOUR. Multiply that by 8, that's 1,448,000 for eight hours. Wowsers. Then you have cast members that get a small raise if they work past 7, then 11. That's a lot of labor... even at baseline. Holidays, full time CMs receive double and casual regulars receive 1.5 times as much. - BCC  4640.8 #5 10:28PM
I vote you chance your name to BCS for Basic Common Sense. 👍 - John  312.0 #548 10:29PM
Idk, the topic made me think about how much labor is covered. Then again, I have access to dollar sale figures for stores and I have a good idea what each store is making. Long story short, Disneyland is a'ok. - BCC  4640.8 #5 10:33PM
I'm sure they're not hurting, but it seems like people sometimes forget the enormous costs involved, and that Disney employs thousands of people. My $500 a year gets spread pretty thin by the end of it! 😜 - bluefairy  627.1 #174 12:11AM
But, also think of all the people working in there, all the maintenance and operations cost for the trams, elevators, escalators, lights, etc. - bluefairy  627.1 #174 10:25PM
Thank you :) - BaseballMickey_CM  2857.7 #16 10:27PM
I once had the oppurtunity to work with one of the head leads from parking. He said that not only do they work with the DL guests, but also work with all of the shuttles you see that come in and out of the resort. They said the worst time (but made most money) was during the D23 expo. He said when the convention center parking fills up, they send them all to the TS lot, which means more money for Disney! - BaseballMickey_CM  2857.7 #16 10:31PM
I worked the first few days of D23, the advance tickets and the first day merch days. Man, the totals that our guests racked up. It was amazing. - BCC  4640.8 #5 10:35PM
