Awhile back, I was posting about the sad story of my niece and nephew's parents stomping on their dreams of ever going to Disneyland. I had saved up the money before, and the kids were getting really excited. Then their parents decided they couldn't go, and we had to use the money for fixing the car. The kids were crushed and it made me feel awful. To make things worse, they started telling them My wife and I were never going to keep our promise, and that we were untrustworthy. We've worked extra hard, I've put in overtime, between school and work to make this work. Their parents are saying that they are thinking about it, and its starting to sound like a yes. But they are refusing to chip in at all, and they told the kids about our plan and how they think we're not going to make it happen again... I just needed to vent a little, I'm doing the best I can to make this work and they just like making things hard on me it seems. It just feels like they are punishing me for trying to make them happy, and I'm feeling the pressure to make this work so I don't disappoint them again. ((Edit: It sounds like I'm asking for a hand out, and that is not what I'm asking. Just wanted to make that clear, I appreciate all the support ^^))
