Good morning all! I have a Disneyland dilemma. My baby sister is turning 2 and still hasn't been to Disneyland. I have asked my parents if I could take her but my step mom wants us all to go together for her 1st time. Understandable...the problem is that my dad says he doesn't want to go at all. So because he's not on board it looks like Abby won't see Disneyland for another couple of years. Is it wrong if I keep asking if we can just take her? What would you do?

Keep asking and invite your step-mom 2 go w/you as well.... - LMAO-Asturi  173.2 #1952 8:16AM
Plan a girls day and ask your step mom to go. Tell her you want some bonding time with all the girls. - Mrstefer  116.6 #2789 8:33AM
Thank you, this is a great idea! I'll try it :-) - LAFDWifey  81.5 #3263 9:00AM
I would tell them that your little sister shouldn't miss out on the joy of Disneyland just because your dad doesn't want to go. Tell them you'd love to share the magic with her! - Mimmy  1405.6 #57 8:41AM
Take her and say you're going to the mall 😜 - mozbaby  132.2 #2560 8:47AM

Lol believe me it's crossed my mind :-D - LAFDWifey  81.5 #3263 9:04AM
Thanks guys I feel bad for Abby because I am 22 years older than her so my dad is way up in age. I have so many great memories with him & he did all the fun trips with me so I think he's just over all the kiddie stuff. I just don't want my baby sis to be cheated out of memories - LAFDWifey  81.5 #3263 9:03AM
She'll have memories with you and ER memories of your dad will be different. You can't make him create memories for her that he doesn't want to do for himself. Talk to him! I'm sure he'll understand!! And agree to go at least once - MarshaMouse  2871.2 #15 9:14AM
True MarshaMouse, their memories will be different but I have talked to him about it multiple times. He's just older - LAFDWifey  81.5 #3263 5:53PM
Keep asking and tell your old man that california adventure is pretty cool and not just for little kids (that's if he hasn't been there) but if that doesn't work then I go with the girls day out and ask your step mom to join =) - jedi-robert  25.9 #4595 9:14AM
Ditto... :-) - disneymomma1  320.5 #521 9:16AM
I would keep asking. Good luck - usmarine  6.9 #8285 7:54AM
I would keep asking. Ask her step mom to go with you guys. - NeverlandTink  421.4 #304 7:58AM
Keep trying to convince your dad! Tell him you guys should take your sister while she's still free! - Princessana08  39.3 #4016 7:59AM
I say u continue asking or tell dad that he must let her n ur step mom go!! believe me its worth it!! She needs to experience the magic n u will love the fact that u took her for the first time :) Dont give up!! - Lizzy22liz  32.0 #4283 8:02AM
I would say try and convince your dad, use te she will get in free until she turns 3 then you have to buy her a ticket. just an FYI I would never let someone take one of my kids to DL or anywhere else for that matter the first time without me. I wouldn't want to miss out on seeing the joy on their face. - akpoppins  243.3 #1071 8:11AM
Thanks, that's good advice. I think that's what my step mom is going through. I know she wants to be there too - LAFDWifey  81.5 #3263 10:01AM
I would just take her and just play dumb. - rjsedlefun  8.4 #7404 8:31AM
keep asking and work on your pops... they have to give in eventually.. :-) - disneymomma1  320.5 #521 8:51AM
