Learned some new Disney trivia tonight!! While talking to some of my clients about their upcoming wedding in Sugarbowl ski resort, I found out that Walt Disney was one of the first investors in the property. The new owner, who Disney took ski lessons from asked Walt to invest in the resort. When Walt gave the new owner a $2500 investment (in 1937 or 38), the owner changed the name of Hemlock Peak to Mt. Disney! It is still named that!!! :)
