my husband doesn't understand my desire to go to DLR on a regular basis and meet other MWers. anyone else have this problem with their spouses? =\
My husband's fine with going to DL any chance we get, but he doesn't "get" MW - LBChica

Same here only my husband know me and our girls love DL so he puts up with us. I haven't told him about meeting up with MWers because he's the kind of guy that make friends everywhere so he would probably meet someone cool (like h3d or dave) and take off with them to ride attractions and drink and I would never see him again. - akpoppins

My husband is the same way, he's not a people person mainly because he actually doesn't know how to socialize, but he's getting better! He's a little skeptical about meeting people online. - Disney4ever55

There's no need to be sceptical of us. Hey, can I borrow some money? 😁 - Tom 3873.0 #7 3:35PM
Hahah tom you made me laugh - Disneyrockstar 121.9 #2698 3:40PM

I'm so lucky because my hubby loves it as much as I do! He's my partner in crime at DL! But the rest of the family thinks we r both nuts!! - aladdinfan

Sounds a little controlling. It's perfectly safe to go to a meetup in the park. I wouldn't go to one in a dark ally or anything, but our meetups are a lot of fun. I have met a lot of dear friends through this app. Show him some pics of the meetups and read him some of the funny posts. It brings a whole new level of fun to Disneyland!! - SueBayou 2012.0 #34 4:26PM
My bf likes Disneyland but doesn't want to go all the time. I get him to go twice a year, but before he knows it it'll be 3 times :) ! He doesn't understand mw either and he thinks im a dork lol - Equestrian115

Now I'm gonna sound like a girl but...... My wife just doesn't get it. We are 16 days from our first visit since 09 and I have been living vicariously through this ap and all your posts. We are buying APs this time so we van visit 3 or 4 times next year nut she just won't jump on board the MW bandwagon. Oh well, more for me. - NascarDave

I posted on this same thing a few weeks ago because I'm in the same boat. My husband hates going and is usually in a bad mood if we go. ;) But I go every week with my kiddos and we have lots of fun anyway. I hate that he misses out on the memories but we still have a blast. - Melliott

I haven't been able to convert my husband yet!! He just isn't into disney, he wasn't born with it pumping through his veins. So I just go with my mom one of my sisters and her gf. It's a good little break from one another too! - Littlecuppycake

My husband was impressed with how many MWers meet up. He's not a big Disney fan and glad I have met some great MWers to meet up with while I'm there. - vegasbrat

Was wondering why we only see you and lil man in the park vegasbrat! - donnievegas 1127.5 #72 4:39PM
I am lucky in some ways and unlucky in others. My husband loves Disneyland and the parks and has agreed to go to a meet up one of these days. But he doesn't like the Disney movies and he isn't keen on doing in park RAK's because he is a bit less outgoing then I am. I am happy with what I have though because he loves the parks an that is good enough for me. - sweetkat

My boyfriend and I have been happily together for 2 years and only been together twice! He is not into the whole Disneyland thing. I go atleast once a week if I can and his response is always..." AGAIN!?!?!" BUT he knows its my happy place, my escape from reality! We are going in a week with my entire family for Thanksgiving! He is a good sport :) His thing is he can't do crowds! O well! Not even my price charming will keep me away from Disneyland! :) - MinnieMouseKateer

I tell my husband I'll see you later tonight and he asks "Going to see your boyfriend?" I respond yes and that being Mickey, of course. I wished he enjoyed it as much as I do, but he does accompany me about 3 times out of the whole year. I haven't met very many MW'ers yet. - tink1999

Ok, I'm so glad I'm not alone in this situation. I've met and befriended people from over the internet before, and made a long lasting friendship out of one. He's def more introverted than me. When I mentioned a Sac area meetup he was a little put off. "What are you gonna do?" Talk, make friends with other people who have a similar interest. It's not like I'm a vulnerability little girl. I don't think he's trying to be controlling, just doesnt understand.
And as for my Disneyland obsession...he likes the parks. But thinks even once a year is too much. We went in March, I'm itching to go again next month. He said "there's more to life than Disneyland." Haha I just keep on keepin on. Haters gon' hate...=P
