I need help today my MW family. I have a non optional social convention to attend today. AKA my Nana's funeral. I could really use some pixy dust or even pixy dust farts sent my way. I am not looking forward to this one bit. 1. for the usual reasons and 2. because I am not a huge fan of my extended family. I am not looking forward to their drama. Thanks.
Sending pixie dust your way...remember to focus on your Nana and nothing else...use this time to celebrate her life...do not accept the invitation to get drawn into drama :-) - uscdisneyteacher

You always have kind things to say, thank you. I never have gotten drawn into the drama thankfully, but it does always pain me to see the way they are not fully enjoying what their life has blessed them with. - sweetkat 285.6 #697 8:28AM
It truly is puzzling especially at a funeral because you'd think life would have more meaning. USC is the best, kindest soul I think I've met. I would stray from the drama, focus on your nana and even though they're drama be gracious of their presence in your life as family. Enjoy the day and smile inside because you know your celebrating her life and you know she would be smiling reflecting her life and all the good moments that were made. I'm sending you happy pixie dust your way! - MarshaMouse 2864.5 #15 8:42AM

Hugs and pixie dust heading your way! I know what you're going through I recently had to attend my grandpas funeral with a bunch of people I don't like or didn't know. Its already a tough enough thing to go through even without the people. If you want to talk to somebody you can text me. - akeleh

Thank you all so much! I am done with it all. The service was actually very beautiful, drama free and lovely. The family lunch after is another story. I kept my head up an ignored the drama and excused myself and my husband and we headed home. Thank you all again for the pixy dust and hugs sent my way. I knew I could count on you guys! - sweetkat

Sorry for you loss. Even though family can be taxing at times keep your nana in your heart and your thought and she will get you through it. Today is hers and we are always here. Pixie dust and Disney magic will pull you through. - PopcornYeti
