Can you tell the difference in older movies on BluRay? I can't. I definitely see it in new movies. Just wondering? - CherryTreeLane

I have no idea. I saw twilight in bluray and saw no difference but at Costco I saw despicable me and noticed. I know those are both new but I can barely tell and only sometimes but really do we even see it that clear in theaters? - cesium55 529.7 #217 1:29AM
it was most likely the motion blur smoothing. normally found in the the 120hz tvs. it adds extra frames into the video to make it seem like everything is in a smoother transition. gives it a soap opera-ish look. - chris. 2507.3 #24 1:33AM
Yeah, I can see what you're both talking about about @cesium and chris. - CherryTreeLane 456.4 #269 1:41AM
