Oh my gosh I love this! 😍 my first and favorite childhood memory of Disney is when I visited for my first time. I remember seeing the old sign (I miss it so much!) as we parked in the massive parking lot (pre-structure) and entering the park and just taking in all the sights and sounds. To this day, 15 years later, Disneyland still makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. 💗 - sarahpie

My fir st DL memory was going for my 5th bday w/ my parents and bff. My dad forced me to go on Space Mtn. I was scared to death and cried through the entire line. That is adorable!! I love it! Okay, my first memory was my first trip when I was 3 years old. I remember walking up to the River Bell Terrance with my daddy and there was Goofy. He grabbed me and gave me a hug and I (being the baby I was) just burst out in tears. He took a picture with me...I still have it and every time I look at it I laugh because of the absolute fear in my eyes. The very next time I went I ran up to him and said I was sorry I was afraid of him and that I loved him. Haha. :) - AshleyLynn22

For me, I remember my mom getting ready for our yearly trip the night before with a huge smile on her face, I knew she was more excited than we could have been, if that was possible. I know the feeling now, because every trip I take I feel so giddy. Took my mom again recently and she asked me 20 questions if I had everything as she prepped when we were younger, her excitement was still immense! Ahh super cute! Please add me!! My first childhood memory at DL was quite traumatizing, sadly :/ I can vividly remember when it was... I was about 7. And the CM let me get on Matterhorn by myself! It was my first time too and my uncle said he would ride with me, but right when were about to get on, he ended up going with my older cousin! I suppose I was fairly hefty so I looked like I could handle the jerky, bumpy ride. omg I was terrified, being thrown around in the back of the bobsled was sooo not fun. Fortunately I have overcome my trauma and Matterhorn is currently one of my favorite attractions! - Susan86
