I love my DVC. We've been members for 5 years now. It is a mortgage, so there are credit checks. Your tax man will write of that mtg interest and real estate taxes like any other piece of real estate. We own 3 other time shares, but DVC is my favorite by far. - 415beachgirl  469.0 #259 5:41AM

We love it! It allows you to stay at the best resorts and vacation multiple times a year. Since last Dec we have been to DL once, wdw twice, and are going to aulani in jan, all of these trip would not have been possible without DVC. It pays for its self in 7 to 10 years and you get 50 years of vacations, all of which don't have to be to Disney locations. Glad someone asked this because we're thinking about it too. Went to the DVC presentation and thought it sounded great, but we need to figure out if it's right for our family.
