I don't know if this news story has been posted already, but it has a lot of similarity to the story setup for Tower of Terror. Yesterday, several celebrities at the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York entered an elevator. The elevator car plunged 8 stories, with the door open. They were OK and didn't enter the Twilight Zone-- the emergency brake finally kicked in. I just thought it was a real coincidence that the situation was similar to the ToT preboard video.
