Ok not mw lounge material really but I know my fellow mw'ers will help me out. My family is really struggling financially my husband works two jobs while I stay home with out daughter because we can't afford day care. We were young and dumb and got ourselves into debt and because my husband makes the most money on the weekends I can't really work because most want weekends and I can only work Monday and Wednesday night because my hubs works the rest. So my question is.... Does anyone know of any decent paying work at home companies that would help me bring in some extra money. The ones I've looked at don't seem legit. Please help!!!! Any suggestions would be so very much appreciated!!!!! Thank you!!! Oh and I'm in Tampa Florida if that helps

When I started to work from home, I did it through freelancing web sites like ODesk.com . That was 4 years ago so I'm not sure how much things have changed on there. I would just write articles and blog posts for cash. They have sections for data entry and other stuff, but I don't think the pay is as good as it was. A good rule of thumb is of they ask you for money to start a home job, it's usually not legitimate. - Missshelly

there are lots of companies out there that you can make your own schedules..Scentsy, Partylite(which I used to do and made pretty decent money for just doing it 6 or so times a month) Avon, Pampered Chef and Im sure the list goes on and on...also if you are crafty you can always put stuff on Etsy or something like that - yellowtonka

Be careful with Mary Kay. They have high requirements you have to meet before you make any money, and you have to meet that requirement every few months, If you don't, you get nothing from any new sales. So check sales requirements on any of those type of companies. - spartanwoman

I sold Avon for a while and I really liked it. Before you decide to sell anything, think about your network. Do you know people who would be interested in hosting parties or purchasing these products? I was 19 when I started selling Avon and the only people I knew who used Avon were my mother-in-law and grandmother. I sold to them mainly, and a few people I found through them. It's all about networking. If you can find a large network of people, you will do great! - danishmodern

I know this is odd but I've made lots of money selling my things on ebay. Old bracelets, jackets, purses, collectables. Try care.com, you can do like dog walking or driving elderly people around, I'm sure Yu could take your kids along with those type of things. Praying for you. I know times are hard. :-) - Madimay
