This is a question for any CM that can answer it. I'm a musician and am proficient in jazz and rockabilly upright bass. I've been wanting to apply for a job as a performer but am heavily tattooed. Should I still try to apply or not even waste my time?
Well this may not be your style but how about gloves. You'll need your fingers so they'd have to be fingerless but couldn't they work that into a costume for New Orleans Square? I figure that's where you'd be with a jazz background. Sorry if those are stupid ideas, just thinking out loud. - Punzel

Im a former CM and as far as I know they're really strict about that.. I don't think we were allowed to have visible tattoos, for girls earrings had to be smaller than a dime, and something about facial hair being very minimal for men.. This was over 6 years ago though :-/ - SarahJoshDisney

Turtle necks aren't a big problem with me. Neither are long sleeves. My ears are gauged but I can take them out for work. My only concern are my hands. Tops of both are done same with the knuckles :-/ - CaptnKid

I actually don't mind fingerless gloves either. Hahaha. Now I'm just curious of I did all that it would still be acceptable to try applying. Haha - CaptnKid

You would have to be covered, but you should try out. I worked somewhere that didn't allow tattoos and we hired a lifeguard with sleeves, he just had to wear a full body swimsuit to work, he was cool with it so it worked out - Pixarprincess

Just a tip...you cannot apply to be a performer unfortunately :( check disneyauditions.com frequently and they will have the audition dates for when they decide they need more musicians. Good luck!! - CMshelleybee
