One great memory for christmas was my mom (single parent of 4 girls) didn't have a lot of money so she decided that we'd all get a box with a present we'd all share so we did and it was pretend kitchen set and she had a few thing here and there like a plastic bracelet or neckless as well. We sat and watched everyone else (cousins) open presents in sadness so my mom decided to take us home so it wouldn't feel so sad. We got home went to sleep and the next morning my uncle stopped by (never has he came down for Christmas) and to our surprise including my moms came and brought presents to help my mom out. He game me my first bike I was in aww never expected that as a gift Christmas was supposed to be semi good and ended up being a great one!  Our family has always been close but memories like these just proves how strong an loving family can be! Please add me thanks!  - Jackie211  472.7 #407 10:02AM
My families Christmas tradition is to open 1 gift Christmas Eve which will be holiday PJ's. Then I make sugar cookie dough in different colors for the kids so they can create a holiday designed cookie. While I bake the cookies we wait and watch Mickeys Christmas Carol and Small One. As soon as the cookies are done we eat them but leave 1 for Santa. Then go to bed. Please add me and thanks. - DisneyRose  247.7 #1292 9:59PM
That sounds so fun - MarshaMouse  4124.3 #25 10:06PM
My favorite Christmas memory is one year my husband and kids (they were young) decided that I needed to hide so they could bring in my present. There was alot of noise, and they told me to stay out of the kids bedroom, which I did. On Christmas morning, everyone opened presents, but I didn't have anything big. My husband told me to look harder. I looked around the tree and still didn't see anything. I looked in the branches and started to cry. There was a jewelry box and a beautiful gold and diamond ring from my husband! My hands shook so he had to take it out and put it on me, and that's my favorite Christmas story! Add me please :) - disneyfan46  334.9 #662 6:53PM
ends later today - R2Jade2  269.1 #1091 1:52AM
One of my favorit Christmas memories is in 2000 when my favorit aunt was visiting us it was the fist time they stayed for Christmas and the last we had with her. We open present at midnight on Christmas and eat tamales. Sorry I don't cook for the holidays - Veronica21  167.9 #2348 10:11PM
My favorite xmas memory was when I was about 7 and we were at my aunts house and my brother, cousin and I all opened our gift at the same time and we all screamed "Rollerskates"! After that forget the rest of the gifts, we had to go skate - dangerdude  29.0 #5581 10:14PM
Oh a surprise!! My favorite Christmas memory is decorating the tree with my mom. She loves Christmas & plays Doaney Christmas songs starting in November! Please add me, thanks! :) - MisFit.Mouse  507.4 #375 10:25PM
My favorite Disney memory is going with my grandpa when I was 3 and I'd sit on his shoulder walking through the park - Beautylovesherbeast  33.9 #5206 10:26PM
my fave memory is when i took my dad and my daughter for her birthday last december for an early xmas present it was the first time i had been with my dad alone since my mom passed june 2010 and it just meant that much more and we had so much fun and i felt more like the kid then my daughter did it was awesome and having dinner at the blue bayou with him it was the most amazing time that i will cherish forever seeing the whole park decorated with holiday cheer the fireworks even had my dad in awe. just wish my mom was still around to enjoy it too. - Tinky76  318.8 #733 10:35PM
Our family tradition is every year my mom, my dad and myself decorate their yard with her homemade Disney characters..we have to decorate the day after Thanksgiving and if we don't all the grandkids are not "feeling Christmas-y" Recipe: cocktail sausages wrapped in bacon and smothered with brown sugar and baked until fully cooked and salami, cream cheese and peppers all wrapped as an appetizer-add me please! - yellowtonka  241.4 #1372 10:39PM
A traditional recipe I make every Thanksgiving & Christmas is a fruit salad that my mom made since way before I was born (my brother is 17 yrs older than me & it was his favorite when he was little) It's grapes, bananas, pineapple & mandarin oranges in a sauce made from whipped cream (whipped by us, not the spray kind!) and flavored with a mix of lemon juice, pineapple juice & sugar that's been thickened. Since we're going to be in the park for Christmas day this year (1st time doing that) I'm going to make it beforehand & bring some in a little cooler. That way we can keep our tradition while we're away from home. Sorry for the novel! :) - TonjaC  287.3 #916 10:43PM
Every christmas, my two youngest brothers and I go to the movies. Very unfestive but it give us awesome time together. I'm excited to see what the mystery is. Add me please. -Jordan - tonyjord3  204.0 #1860 11:26PM
Please add me!  thank you for your generosity! 1) my favorite Christmas memory is being in the kitchen with my mom and two brothers when we were kids and helping her make Santa's thumb prints. We each had so much fun doing each step; especially using our thumbs to make the print on the cookie. Those memories are very dear to my heart cause I remember my moms smile as she helped us with the cookies. - Aurora_2020  260.1 #1173 11:32PM

We have many holiday traditions, but I have 2 that I would love to share: 1) we decorate our house on Thanksgiving Day while listening to Kost Christmas music. 2) since our first year of marriage, we have had Posadas...it's a Mexican tradition that involves prayer, caroling, food, piñatas & lots of candy for the kids (& the young at heart😊!!! We do this from dec. 16-24 & it is just such a marvelous experience that everyone young & old look forward to by counting down the days!!! - Disneymomof4  29.7 #5509 5:31AM

Thanksgiving tradition that I love is going around the table saying What we are thankful for. My favorite holiday recipe is pumpkin chocolate chip cookies! - Deltachiq  1223.3 #120 12:32PM
Nice way to host a RAK! 1) fave christmas memory is when I was little (lion king just came out). I had wrote a letter to santa asking for this talking Simba plush. Well on Christmas eve We opened gifts from other relatives and my uncle gave me the Simba. I was all worried because I had already told Santa to give that to me and it was too late to change it. My uncle said he had Santas number and would tell him. And the next day when Santa didn't bring me the same Simba I was so amazed and believed my uncle really had Santa connections :D 2)Christmas tradition is to spend Christmas eve night opening gifts at my aunts house. Every year we make it happen regardless of family drama or other things going on. It's so nice. 3) I'm not much of a cook, but if you google randy Travis sweet potatoes they are delicious! - Jillian  767.1 #217 1:08PM

LOVE this! My all time favorite Christmas memory was when i was about 7 years old, I remember waking up and seeing a HUGE box under the tree inback of all the rest of the presents with my name on it, as well as for my sister. I was really excited to start opening the presents and get to the big one, I remember I got a Little Mermaid sleeping bag, Eeyore stuffed animal, new clothes, and a bunch of other things, then when i FINALLY got to the big one, it was extremely light, so i opened it, and there was a smaller box inside, well 4 boxes later i finally get to the small one, opened it and there was a ticket to Disneyland! we ended up going right after breakfast. best Christmas ever. (so far) lol - TiffyMarie  301.2 #834 12:47PM
Our Xmas tradition is the day after thanksgiving we go to apple hill, in placerville, and we pick out our Xmas tree! Add me please thanks! :) - brodysmommy  402.2 #510 4:16PM
Add me please, a family tradition of ours is every Christmas eve my mom would make green chilie stew before church. Then we would come home and put on Christmas pjs and get to pick one gift to open. And that we would put out beer and chips and salsa for Santa because my dad convinced me that by the time Santa got to our house he would be sick of milk and cookies 😂 - Pixarprincess  540.8 #347 4:23PM

That would have to be christmas 99 when my whole family came from all over and we piled into one house and had like this epic dinner and then gift exchange and then we all watched the sixth sense in the living room and everyone ended up sleeping over and we just had to find a spot to sleep. A few of my cousins went on the roof, my uncle was in a bathtub and that whole night was just so much fun, wish I had more days like that :) add me pleaseee - nikkiribas  323.4 #714 8:39AM

http://cchealth.org/eh/retail-food/dog-law-faq.php   I know folks love theiri pets but I still do not think this is sanitary  from a food perspective. See the url for CA law. Unless they provide a designated pet area outside, dogs cannot lick the plates/utensils, who cleans up after a dog accident......No pets in at a restaurant for now (service dogs are the exception). Disney is excellent with their food cleanliness in the parks per the Public health inspections. DTD does not fare as well per Retaurarant inspection. Check the Health Care Agency for the current restaurant inspections. As a Public health nurse I always check to see who is keeping clean in their kitchens. Diners beware! - Plumiegirl  8607.6 #3 10:42AM

Disneyland unFORECAST (BETA) is here! Top MouseWaiters giving you the rundown of what's happening at the Disneyland Resort. The unFORECAST now has its own page on the web www.unFORECAST.com

unFORECAST for the week of Monday April 20, 2015

CROWD PREDICTION: Back to short hours this week, and based on our Historical Crowd Index, we see mid-70s with crowds decreasing through the end of the month. There is also a chance of rain toward the end of the week which could throw a wrench in things. Friday and Sunday's have been the busiest days, but rain on Friday could cause the crowds to be significantly less. Have a great weekend! - Admin Apr 21, 2015 11:28AM

We have always noticed that Saturdays are better than Sundays! We always come on the weekend and say we want to leave at dinner time on Sunday, but always leave by 11-12 because there are so many people. We love Saturday!! - 1Princess3Princes  373.0 #559 5:39PM
I agree. I think it has to do with most passes being blocked - PoohSizedGuy  18.5 #6936 11:53PM
