One great memory for christmas was my mom (single parent of 4 girls) didn't have a lot of money so she decided that we'd all get a box with a present we'd all share so we did and it was pretend kitchen set and she had a few thing here and there like a plastic bracelet or neckless as well. We sat and watched everyone else (cousins) open presents in sadness so my mom decided to take us home so it wouldn't feel so sad. We got home went to sleep and the next morning my uncle stopped by (never has he came down for Christmas) and to our surprise including my moms came and brought presents to help my mom out. He game me my first bike I was in aww never expected that as a gift Christmas was supposed to be semi good and ended up being a great one!
Our family has always been close but memories like these just proves how strong an loving family can be! Please add me thanks! - Jackie211

My families Christmas tradition is to open 1 gift Christmas Eve which will be holiday PJ's. Then I make sugar cookie dough in different colors for the kids so they can create a holiday designed cookie. While I bake the cookies we wait and watch Mickeys Christmas Carol and Small One. As soon as the cookies are done we eat them but leave 1 for Santa. Then go to bed. Please add me and thanks. - DisneyRose

My favorite Christmas memory is one year my husband and kids (they were young) decided that I needed to hide so they could bring in my present. There was alot of noise, and they told me to stay out of the kids bedroom, which I did. On Christmas morning, everyone opened presents, but I didn't have anything big. My husband told me to look harder. I looked around the tree and still didn't see anything. I looked in the branches and started to cry. There was a jewelry box and a beautiful gold and diamond ring from my husband! My hands shook so he had to take it out and put it on me, and that's my favorite Christmas story!
Add me please :) - disneyfan46

A traditional recipe I make every Thanksgiving & Christmas is a fruit salad that my mom made since way before I was born (my brother is 17 yrs older than me & it was his favorite when he was little) It's grapes, bananas, pineapple & mandarin oranges in a sauce made from whipped cream (whipped by us, not the spray kind!) and flavored with a mix of lemon juice, pineapple juice & sugar that's been thickened. Since we're going to be in the park for Christmas day this year (1st time doing that) I'm going to make it beforehand & bring some in a little cooler. That way we can keep our tradition while we're away from home. Sorry for the novel! :) - TonjaC

Nice way to host a RAK! 1) fave christmas memory is when I was little (lion king just came out). I had wrote a letter to santa asking for this talking Simba plush. Well on Christmas eve We opened gifts from other relatives and my uncle gave me the Simba. I was all worried because I had already told Santa to give that to me and it was too late to change it. My uncle said he had Santas number and would tell him. And the next day when Santa didn't bring me the same Simba I was so amazed and believed my uncle really had Santa connections :D 2)Christmas tradition is to spend Christmas eve night opening gifts at my aunts house. Every year we make it happen regardless of family drama or other things going on. It's so nice. 3) I'm not much of a cook, but if you google randy Travis sweet potatoes they are delicious! - Jillian

LOVE this! My all time favorite Christmas memory was when i was about 7 years old, I remember waking up and seeing a HUGE box under the tree inback of all the rest of the presents with my name on it, as well as for my sister. I was really excited to start opening the presents and get to the big one, I remember I got a Little Mermaid sleeping bag, Eeyore stuffed animal, new clothes, and a bunch of other things, then when i FINALLY got to the big one, it was extremely light, so i opened it, and there was a smaller box inside, well 4 boxes later i finally get to the small one, opened it and there was a ticket to Disneyland! we ended up going right after breakfast. best Christmas ever. (so far) lol - TiffyMarie
