I think they all have a balcony. Usually a room with a courtyard or parking lot view. - PrincessDuckie

Standard view rooms overlook the main entrance or the interior courtyard. For other view there are Downtown Disney view rooms have a view of the Downtown Disney shopping and restaurant district. Park view/pool view rooms feature views of the Grizzly Peak or Paradise Pier areas of Disney's California Adventure, or the Redwood Pool area, though many pool view rooms also have a view of Paradise Pier.

GCH... It depends, but standard will give you a view of Disneyland Dr, DTD or pool area, but defenately not the theme parks - FreddyC626

I think it just means its a room that does not overlook the DCA park. Last time I booked standard view at Paradise Pier, they upgraded us to a room that overlooked DCA for free (I guess b/c they weren't full?) we didn't even ask for it - it was just a fun surprise when we got to our room! - MissAcroBRAT
