Hello there. Are any of you lactose intolerant, gluten-free eating and/or vegetarians? How do you guys eat the fare in the park? Help!
I'm vegetarian and have a minor lactose intolerance (ice cream is a no go, but cheese is fine) I love the veggie kabobs at Bengal bbq, the Asian place and paradise garden grill is awesome at DCA... Other than salads I think thats the only options that could be gluten free. - JenInWonderland

The reason why I'm asking is because I've been a vegetarian for over a year now, recently found out that I'm lactose intolerant, and even more recently found out that I am allergic to wheat and various nuts. Short of bringing your own food, what are some dishes you enjoy in the parks? - LaPetiteSirene

it would probably be best to bring your own food. I'm vegetarian and I usually eat at village haus and hungry bear. - missgoofy

The new kebob place at DCA has tofu kebobs and the Chinese food place has stir fried tofu. There's lots of fruit stands but it would be cheaper to bring your own. - rainbowlite

If you go to guest services at both parks they will give you a listing of gluten free options. I used this the last two trips. - sewgirl

Boardwalk pizza and pasta can make gluten free dairy free pizza. Takes about 15 minutes. Character breakfasts at paradise pier can prepare gluten free pancakes. - nitabird
