Ever since last year’s Mickey’s Halloween Party I have been planning to take my grandma and dress her up as Snow White. (SW is just who I think would fit her best and this has been a dream waiting to happen) There were times I didn’t think it would happen with the 2x hospitalization and poor service of her stay at a short-term nursing home. ..But it finally came true yesterday! At 89 years old I know my grandma doesn’t understand what Disneyland is or who Snow White is but I believe she truly had a fun time! I’ve never seen her smile so much and at the same time was surprised she never fell asleep or looked tired. So with this picture I have had this idea for a while now and I was glad that the Queen was so friendly to her and was happy to take a picture with the apple I brought! I’ll never forget last night because one of my dreams came true!
This pciture brought tears to my eyes. Literally started to cry tears of happiness for you both at my desk right now. My grandmother passed away in May, she was everything to me, I miss her so much and would have loved to do something even half this amazing for her. This is one of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen and really showcase the pure joy that DIsney Brings to everyone no matter what age. I am so happy you got this amazing photo and this will be a memory and a night you both never forget. You are an amazing Granddaughter. I hope and pray for good health for here and hopefully this can be your guys new tradition:) - BooEve123

I am so happy you got to do this for/with her!!! The picture brought tears to my eyes remembering when I took my grandma to Disneyland a few years ago. She passed away in December of last year and I was at Disneyland when I received the call...it was the worst day of my life, but I look back at those Disney pictures and they bring a huge smile to my face!!! So this story brought tears to my eyes for a few reasons. The first being how amazing it is that your grandma got to experience this and how much fun she had. The other reasons are because I never got to go to DL with my grandma, and she passed away the year of the 50th so this story just made me think of how amazing it would've been to go with her - dlmickeymouseCM

I'm tearing up reading this. My grandpa is 82 has a stroke this year and I was Judy asking him if we could get him to go and my grandparents won't budge.
