I need advice from anyone that has been or is going to the Halloween Party. My husband bought tickets but isn’t convinced that it will be worth it. I want to prove him wrong. When is the best time to ride the rides, go trick or treating and get pictures with the characters? I heard after they close the park around 6pm the rides have short wait times- and after the fireworks the lines aren’t long at the trick or treat stations, is that true? Is it better to trick or treat towards the back of the park? What time do the characters come out for photos? We are taking our son so there will be three of us. I am so excited! Any help would be appreciated! And yes, I am planning on getting as much candy as my arms can carry-Yummy!
I don't know the tricks, we haven't gone yet either. But, I know from many people that it is definitely worth it. Have a great time!!! - MandJloveMickey

I have seen all the pictures of the tons of candy everyone is getting- That is crazy! Do they give you a bag when you get there, or do you bring your own? - whatsthis

I was there on the 30th, and it was sold out, so it was pretty busy, but after the fireworks, it did slow down, and the treat lines were a breeze. Also, towards the end of the night they were giving out more candy than at the beginning. I got 2 pieces from each CM at the beginning, towards the end of the night I was getting handfuls. I didn't do any character pictures, so I don't have any tips for those. - brit-brit

Thanks @halfway- The night we are going isn't sold out yet, so this gives me hope that we will still get to do everything and have fun. - whatsthis
