I have a question I have been wondering. Are my boys the only ones that would love to have Prince costumes to dress up in like the girls have all the Princesses? There are a lot of Princes in all the stories so there isn't a lack to choose from. They don't want to be dirty Pirates, the bad guy or other similar aggressive character. Adding Marvel superheros didn't help them, they want to be a Disney character. They want to be a Prince. Princes are handsome, brave, wise, heroic etc. My youngest is a girl and this year she's big enough to wear the Princess costumes so we went to Bippity Boppity Boutique to buy her Alice in Wonderland (yes technically not one of the Princesses I know) and let her pick out a couple accessories. She's 2, she had to have her crown that she wore all day! I have been in the store for things for myself before too (Love Disney jewelry for myself!). Every time we go in they ask if there are Prince things and if they do Prince Makeovers, the only thing is a sword and shield..more aggression :( For years they've asked. They're 10 & 7 now and they keep asking. Anyone else with boys that would love to be Princes? Do you think if enough of us ask they might actually offer them?

When mine was 5 I made him a knight costume with a stuffed horse and his legs were the horses legs it could have also been a prince. Also when my boys were 10 & 11 I made them the 3 musketeers but since I only had 2 boys I made a "dummy" one and they carried him between them. They won that year. - SueBayou  2012.0 #34 12:48PM
what would a prince makeover entail? - missgoofy  367.8 #379 12:43PM
I think i seen someone on here post a picture of her son as princd charming and her daughter as cinderella. But i cant think of the name and not sure if she had the costume made. - bellasmommy12  10.9 #6500 12:52PM
I do admit I have thought about that @ missgoofy. I know there isn't a ton you can do. I've even said this to my boys. But they would be happy to have their hair styled (and..gasp..even have a little glitter in it to give it that special shine) and a crown placed on their heads along with the costume. I think less then a full makeover is they just want the costumes to be a Prince. - Autoalice  135.7 #2513 12:53PM
I'm with you. We took my daughter's to get a makeover at Bippity Boppity Boo & did not want our younger son to feel bad for not doing anything for him so he had a tons of gel, confetti, sword & shield. About 2-3 years ago I found a Prince Charming outfit that cost an arm & a leg on eBay since they r so hard to come by. Disney should find a way to show our boys how to be charming. - Disneymomof4  29.7 #4396 1:01PM

I used to sew all the time and know there are patterns that one could make into the various Princes but I haven't had time to sew anything like that in a good while :( I even tried taking my sewing machine to my mom's house thinking I could sew there while the kids played at her house but it still doesn't happen. With 3 kids that I home school plus all the day to days of the house I run out of sewing time. It is so sad - Autoalice  135.7 #2513 1:17PM
My 3 year old loves pretending he's a "dirty pirate" lol. :) - LoveMyBoy  30.1 #4374 1:22PM
There are times they want to be the pirate, just not all the time ;) - Autoalice  135.7 #2513 2:17PM
