Good evening MW! :-) Need to ask all the night owl MWers out there: What is the best way to ensure a great viewing spot for WOC. Have not seen it yet. Need all the opinions/ideas you can throw out there.

If you have the money eat at ariel grottos very good and you get preferred seating. Otherwise a fast pass will do. Blue is a good view. - SillySwings  435.3 #285 9:25PM
Wet zone because then you don't have to look over the sea of people in front of you (especially the parents who have kids on their shoulders), they sell ponchos too but you don't really need them, - Jessgiac  8.6 #7258 9:26PM
I haven't experienced it yet but several people recommend the dining experience. If you search the site you'll find lots of opinions regarding if you want to spend money on dining reservations (and if so which choice is better) v. fast pass and what color section. Hope you enjoy it!! - Duchess73  293.7 #649 9:27PM
We're trying the dinner pkg this weekend. You can make WOC dinner reservations at wine country trattoria or ariel's grotto. After dinner, you receive tix to the preferred viewing area for the show. - JoshnSandy  42.8 #3904 9:29PM
I've done both the preferred seating and just getting fast pass and it's just a preference on your part. - SillySwings  435.3 #285 9:29PM
I haven't done the dining experience yet but we stake out a spot on the stair in whatever section we get a fp for. That way we can see over people and we don't get wet. - PopcornYeti  377.6 #359 9:31PM
Awesome feedback, you guys rock! If you do the dining option does that mean you don't have to get to that section super early to have a good spot? - DisneyLuva4Life  9.0 #7102 9:40PM
We have done 2 things. 1). Dinner at Ariels Grotto. This was awesome, but expensive. Great food and great spots for WOC. 2) We also did the picnic lunch once at Wine Country, and while the food was cheaper, it was nowhere near as good. Plus, we got stuck a lot farther back. We have never fastpassed it, but I hear it is a bit of a crapshoot. - madmarchhare  221.2 #1340 10:10PM

Oops. Double post. Weird. - madmarchhare  221.2 #1340 10:14PM
Get a fastpass and hope for the yellow section (the best one IMO - and I've seen WoC many times). ;-) - thisredheadistaken  243.3 #1062 10:19PM
We got a fastpass for yellow. It was good cuz we sat right behind the gate. There was no one in front of us, so we could see with no problem. - indyRocks  343.9 #423 10:20PM
U can call 714-781-dine. They take reservations for WOC dinners and can answer questions u have. - JoshnSandy  42.8 #3904 10:28PM
