So I've decided I want to start collecting/trading pins when I visit the park next month. Any tips or advice for a newbie?
Some tips us CMs like to say is to manage what kind of pins you want to collect. If you like a certain character or a certain set, go for that. If you don't know what you like/collect, you may spend a lot more money that you thought. Also, try to stick with CMs when you trade. - BaseballMickey_CM

I get my daughter a set of 25 from disneypinspros on ebay (There are fake pins out there so be careful who u go thru) and then she has plenty of pins to trade. And baseball mickey is right, you are much better off just trading with the Cm's. Its a fun hobby. - madsdad

Stick to CMs but do check them out as you can also see fake ones on their lanyards as well. Beware of eBay, look for people who have 10 or less lots (usually 25) Don't buy pins from China or out of the country. And do research on how to spot fake ones! But most of all me polite no matter what. Say please and thank you. - Im-a-pirate-princess
