Just wanted to pass along this email regarding the Disney store dolls. Since it's gotten kinda crazy, they changed their policy. I've only been able to get Ariel so far.
Dear Disney Store Guests:
As you may be aware, our new limited edition Disney Princess Designer Doll Collection has generated a good deal of excitement. While many of you love the new dolls, you have also expressed frustration in securing your favorite Princess, and brought to our attention ways we could make the process fair for all Guests. We want you to know that we read your comments on Facebook, saw your Tweets, and our Cast Members have told us what they heard from our Guests who visited our Stores.
Quantities of these dolls are very limited, and we realize that not everyone will be able to get the doll of their choice even with a new process in place. Our aim is to increase the chances of as many of our Guests as possible to obtain the dolls that they are seeking. Therefore we have updated our release plans as follows:
We will now release for purchase all 5 remaining Disney Princess Designer Dolls: Tiana, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty and Pocahontas on one date in Stores on 10/17/11.
We will then have a Disneystore.com release of all 5 Disney Princess Designer Dolls: Tiana, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty and Pocahontas, the following day on 10/18/11, at a time to be determined – and will be communicated at a later date.
We will be limiting the purchase to one doll per Princess, per Purchasing Guest. This limit applies both in-store and at Disneystore.com.
NOTE: Purchasing Guests are Guests present at Store age 17 and older.
We will implement a line queue and ticketing procedure (first come, first served) in Stores on the release date and the dolls will be sold at store opening.
Guests that are not successful in obtaining the Princess Doll of their choice at the Stores will be able to try on 10/18/11 at Disneystore.com.
We thank you for your continued support and loyalty. We hope you have a Magical day.
I really dislike how online sellers try to gorge people. Yes, capitalism or trying to make a bckis not illegal but you still get bad karma points for being greedy. - Dahulagirl

I'm not buying the dolls but I like how they are trying their best to ensure everyone has a fair chance. hopefully the one doll per princess per person will help stop the outrageous eBay sellers. - Jillian

This whole doll thing as been so stressful! I got the first 4 by being in line early... I got to the mall at 6 AM for Snow White, and I was the 1st person in line to NOT get a doll...the people ahead of me got there at 3am I just purchased SW on eBay for $180 shipped because that is the cheapest that I have seen go.. I am so distressed over the possibility of not being able to complete the collection for my little girl I have been a doll collector for 30 years!! This has been crazy!! On the upside though, I had my first mini MW meet-up while waiting for Mulan I also met a bunch of Disney lovers, some of which are now part of our MW family. Things happen for a reason, and we never know why , but I am just going to go with the flow and hope that I can secure the rest of the collection - 2BeignetOrNot2Beignet

For a while I thought of collecting them all but it just got too ridiculous. I'm glad everyone gets a fair chance, even though it is only for the last dolls of the collection. I'm sure lots of people were disappointed to not get at least their favorite - kobeholic2000

I hope the people that truly want the dolls will be able to get the ones they want and not have to break their wallets. - disneygal
