Questions for all Disney fans: Anyone know of any healthy food options at Disneyland? No Matterhorn Sundae for me. Although, I HAVE to get a churro. A line has to be drawn somewhere.

The Hungry Bear has some DELICIOUS sweet potato fries. - snowwannab  355.3 #415 3:15PM
I usually bring in my own sandwich and then just pick up snacks at one of the fruit carts. I don't know about an Actualy meal though.... - princesssparrow  51.3 #3779 3:20PM
Bengal BBQ has good options, and I always buy a kids meal for myself since I'm watching calories. - MainStreetMom  112.5 #2910 3:35PM
Bengal BBQ for sure (you can get the kabobs w/sauce on the side) and salads practically anywhere now. Paradise Grill at DCA has healthy options too. - msdizmaui  521.3 #227 3:39PM
Pacific Grill in DCA and there is a vegan option at the Chinese place there too. Pretty good tofu fried rice. - Katrayher  742.2 #139 3:40PM
I always get a kids meal with the healthy options or split something with someone else! It's cheaper and you control how many calories you eat. Oh and never buy soda! It's bad for you and dehydrates you to exhaustion/headaches. Always get water. It's free and if you ask nicely they'll give it to you in a big cup. :) - Nyghtngale  547.9 #212 3:44PM
There are fruit cups everywhere and also at the towerland rocket place they have salads just watch out for dressing. Also in tomorrowland Terrance they have chicken and fish sandwiches. If you feel like making a trip to dca there is that Mexican place with amazing chicken tacos!!! - taterbeans  6.3 #9013 3:45PM
I was on a diet last time we were there and I was able to stick to it by getting plaza inn kids meal baked chicken and green beans, I had a corn cob plain for a snack. Then dinner we went to the new skewer place and got the kids chicken skewer with whole grain rice. I was very proud of myself. There are also lots of fruit stands with fresh fruit. Pineapple is my fav! - akpoppins  245.1 #1077 3:46PM
It also helps if you convince yourself that a Dole Whip Float gives you two servings of fruit and is essential to your daily diet. :P - Nyghtngale  547.9 #212 3:47PM
Avoid fried stuff. Instead of a burger and fries, have a garden burger and fruit. Ask for sandwiches to be made without cheese and sauce. Mickey pretzels are high in calories but low in fat. Split one with someone for a snack. Go for tomato sauce on pasta instead of creamy sauce. I was able to maintain my weight loss on my trip in July just by making careful choices and lots and lots of walking! - bunnymama  333.1 #472 4:02PM
I always get chicken salads and have the dressing on the side. That way I can control the amount of dressing. I also bring my own fruit and unsalted nuts to snack on. - topdisneymom  239.8 #1137 4:49PM
Mimi's is walking distance and they have a light & fit menu - Disneymomblessedx3  317.8 #550 4:50PM
And there are tons of trees and bushes around just pluck off some leaves. Mmmm yummy! - valfroggie  122.4 #2742 11:07PM
I hear the water is low-cal. :D jk...we usually bring trail mix, fruit, string cheese, etc. and keep it in a locker. My hubby and I also like the Lucky Fortune Cookery for a tasty rice bowl :) - Alicewhoareyou  543.9 #214 11:15PM
We stopped for fruit & water at the DCA fruit cart and spent $20 on barely anything. - HotDiggityDogDaddy  1112.4 #73 11:16PM
@valfroggie LOL that made me roll with laughter...the skewers at DCA are so delish and it really tasted healthy don't know how many calories. The kids portions are always good. Snack on fruit or carrots throughout day and you'll be less hungry. Good luck - MarshaMouse  2935.3 #16 11:18PM
