Stuck in Traffic!! Power outage. It's so hot in my car and I can't put the AC on because I have no gas :(

The AC itself doesn't use gas, but it's the extra strain on the motor that causes your car to use more fuel. Depending on the make and year of your vehicle, it varies. If you're really low, and unsure if you'll make it to a station, it's an extra precaution to not use the AC. Hope you can fuel up and cool off soon! - poppet

it's all the way from freaking mission viejo to parts of mexico. it took me FOREVER to get home from school. luckily I live right outside of mission viejo so it's not affecting me but i hope everyone else is alright - acpowers13

Heard on the news here in NorCal that two main transmission lines were severed and they don't know why..that was about 2 hrs ago it was something like 1.4 million people or so - yellowtonka
