I'm going to get do flamed for this, but here goes. I wish Disney had the rights to Star Trek and not Star Wars. Don't get me wrong....I love Star Wars pre 97 before Lucas felt the need to constantly tamper. it is an awesome, epic if you will, franchise. But, my inner geek likes Trek more than Wars. More depth, IMO. Besides, Shatner narrating a Tomorrowland ride? Winning!
IDK, I think Nimoy, Michael Dorn, or Avery Brooks have better narration voices - cesium55

Actually, I think Patrick Stewart would be my first choice. Telling us to make it so. Wow...I'm a nerd....:-) - TenSixths

I agree. Star trek was a lot easier for me to get into. If they could get the rights to star trek that would be amazing! I would love a star trek attraction. - EnchantedRose

I think Star Wars is The safer choice. I think ST may be too sociopolitical. SW deals with some of those issues as well but I think The Great Flanneled One did a better job of masking it with the fantasy whereas Roddenberry put it right in your face. Disney may not want to deal with some of those issues. Just My humble opinion. - NEMFLCN

And Stewarts Englishmans sophisticality (not sure that's a word) has nothing on Avery Brooks booming voice. - NEMFLCN
