I have a question for all the MW parents out there. What age do you think is best to start bringing your children. Not having children yet myself I watch families and some seem to struggle with all their things while others don't. Just wondering how you all make it work and if it's because you wait until a certain age.

my parents started taking me when I was a month old and I'm so glad they did :) - missgoofy  367.8 #376 6:49PM
same, my parents first took me when I was a month old. - acpowers13  148.8 #2306 6:50PM
We took both of our girls from infancy on. Before that we took our nieces when they were as young as 3. Last trip, we had all of the with us (5 girls, plus me - I had to carry all the luggage). They all still love it, and I think its because they can never remember NOT going to Disneyland. It's like a 2nd home. Of course, all kids are different, but we found with plenty of breaks and naps, babies love Disneyland. - madmarchhare  221.2 #1341 6:51PM
We go with our nieces often (7 yrs and 17 months) and they love it. Growing up in Southern CA I can't remember not going either. I guess you just have to know your children's limits. - missyhidy  242.0 #1090 6:56PM
My parents started taking me when i was a few months old...I've been going ever since :) - EwokLuver  73.0 #3357 6:58PM

Weve taken all 4 of our kids dice they were each babies.. Some days at the park are easy, some days are really hard and not fun. It's all about making memories tho and creating the memories and magic in their lives! - Calypso  812.9 #113 7:00PM

I guess one of the many things to be thankful for, living so close to Disneyland, is that you can have a bad day and go right back and have a great day! - missyhidy  242.0 #1090 7:08PM
My son was 1 month old. - Chumash28  763.8 #130 7:10PM
My brother and I both went later in our childhoods and remember it all. I don't plan on taking my kids till their at least 8. I want them to be able to take it all in and remember everything. I paid all this money, I want them to remember. - MagicalCaprice  480.6 #248 7:12PM
My daughters 1st trip was at 15 months , next was 3 years old and next month she will be 4 years old. She loves it and remembers her trip last year and thats what makes her so excited for her next trip. Before 3 it's free so it didn't cost anything extra for me to go plus it made me happy. - Sasha513  286.6 #689 7:40PM
I took my son when he was 3 months old and that happened to be Tokyo DL - DebbyMouse7531  228.6 #20 8:56PM
My oldest was 2 1/2 for his first trip. We are not locals and it is an expensive trip for us. I think he was at a perfect age to make the trip worth spending the money (although it would have been fun for me no matter how old he was!). Like you said in your comment, you have to know your child(ren). My son is very adventurous and loved rides since a very young age, so I knew he'd love it. He's now 4 1/2 and his 4th trip to DL will be in 2 weeks!! He loves it!! - jedimommy  162.1 #2124 9:03PM
We started at about 3. We live out of state so we can't come and go easily. There were times when there were struggles, usually over tired kids, parents or both. But we never left feeling like we would not go back. Our kids are 13 and 17 now and I have to say, it is soooooo much more fun to be in Disney with big kids. However, that could be all the Disney training paying off.  - macmom  131.6 #2562 9:10PM
I have a 3.5 and 1.5 year old and I always say that you have to take them out of the house to teach them how to act in public! We take them to restaurants, DL, movies, vacations, even church. Of course the first time is sometimes difficult but now they know what is acceptable behavior in public and what is not! - akpoppins  243.3 #1068 9:16PM
I took my son for the first time when he was 18 months old and it was priceless:) best memory ever - Krisseee  22.7 #4834 9:18PM
My parents took me when I was 2! When I have kids I will probably take them around 1 or 2 months - princessVanessa  382.5 #352 9:19PM
We started taking my son after his first birthday but I don't think he really started to enjoy it more than any ither place til he was 2. - Squirtortue  311.1 #552 9:53PM
My daughter's 1st Disney experience was a cruise/trip to WDW that I won in a photo contest. She was 2-1/2 and remembers nothing! Her 1st visit to DL was when she was 3, but her memories only come when she sees the home videos! Trips after she was 4 are the most memorable for her. I wouldn't change a thing about when she started going. Her memories are what counts! - Gia  785.4 #119 9:57PM
I took my daughter at five that way she was big enough to enjoy the rides and old enough to remember the trip - cowboygoofy  211.5 #1461 10:16PM
Living so far away I can't go all the time so I waited until my kids were old enough to understand and really enjoy it - around 4 years old. - msdizmaui  518.9 #223 10:26PM
My 20mo. old went when he was about 4mos. We live locally so we are there often. The baby care center is great if you're nursing and need a little retreat. - Minnique  451.8 #272 10:28PM
