Does btmrr seem faster to anyone else at night? I have some theories. #1 Since it's gravity fed, there may be less small children, and more adults, thus faster. #2 Everyone ate too much at Woody's Roundup, more weight again. #3 The cones, rods, night vision thing. Our brain does not perceive things the same in low light, giving the perception of more speed. #4 I am just nuts. What do you think?

I like the thought you've put into this. - Yoshi  257.2 #932 8:00AM
Probably #3 OR maybe a combo of all of them :) but it does seem faster at night - VeloMouseGirl  549.7 #202 8:04AM
i don't know for me it does seem a lot faster at night, i've ridden it first thing and i watch it go by and it seems so slow. - chris.  2507.3 #24 8:06AM
I feel like,its deffinitely faster at night. Its definitely because of low light. . - dopeyluvr215  152.8 #2251 8:06AM
I vote #1, #2 and #3... oh, and probably a little #4, but in a good way! I totally agree! - DisneyDoc  118.1 #2764 8:07AM
I vote #3. BTMRR and SM always seem faster at night to me. Maybe I'm crazy too :) - PirateQueenBriezy  291.4 #661 9:33AM
All of the above! - wonderlandgirl  325.6 #498 9:34AM
I always find the back faster than the front. - proudcanuck  476.4 #250 9:38AM
Maybe all, but at least #3. I think most of the rides are better at night, especially HM! - 2ndStar2theRight  24.5 #4693 9:39AM
I've always thought that! Best nighttime ride. Sit in the very back!! - HerRoyalMinnie  15.6 #5574 9:39AM

#4 fa sho! :D I'm the same way lol - VivaHate88  154.0 #2243 9:40AM
I agree with you roto. I think it is faster at night but I have no clue what it is that makes it so. Then again, it is Disneyland! - Oinker34  867.7 #105 9:43AM
#4, I like it better at night... - garrlusdland  52.2 #3708 9:44AM
Definitely faster feeling at night because of the reasons you were getting at. I love driving at night because I feel like 65mph is 90, lol - KylaShea  533.2 #214 9:45AM
#5. The longer the trains run--the more the track heats up. As a result the trains encounter less cold friction and move slightly faster. - pridegirl  377.3 #362 9:47AM
It def rides faster at night...they use the jack rabbit speed only at night . Cm also announce jack rabbit speed at night for those requesting..lol I've sat in middle at night at it feels soooo much faster. - MarshaMouse  2869.3 #15 10:07AM
