MW Mommies- how soon after birth can you return to riding on the pregnancy no-no attractions? We got orders to VA so I will be moving only a couple of weeks after lil one is born and I am hoping I can squeeze in a DL trip and be able to check out the new Star Tours and go on ToT again
I'd give it a couple hours, just to be safe - BLG

Depends on your recovery time - I had a c-section and wouldn't consider something like that for at least two months. My sister was up and doing normal stuff within two weeks (no c-section). - Duchess73

I would say six weeks sweets - Mrsblue

I was able to fill my dishwasher 12 hours after having my 4th. If the opportunity would have presented itself I would have gone to Disneyland and been tired but fine. You should definitely go! - Missshelly

LOL BLG! I know you never know what will happen, but I am delivering at a Birth Center with a 3% C section rate so I'm assuming that won't be the case. They do the first follow up appt at 2 weeks I will ask them then, because I know I won't want to wait 6 weeks to move to join DH. Granted, he could be on hold for awhile and not have to report until then. Guess we'll have to see :) - TickledTink

Six weeks is considered the normal recovery time for routine births. Even though you feel ok, there's still a risk of complications. - bunnymama

Probably best to discuss it with your doc :) He/she knows your situation better than we do! - Spoonful_O_Sugar

LOL@BLG!! It really depends though...I bounced back super fast with one of my kids, and the other took a few weeks before I felt well again. Best wishes! - MinnieMousewife

TT- it will depend on your delivery and labor. Everyone is different. Ask your Dr to be safe!!! Some people may be able to walk majorly in a week and some not for 6 or more. It just depends on how fast you heal. - Mrsblue

exactly. Every labour and birth is different. You need to ask your doctor. - BLG

Sounds like a plan. I'll ask my midwife at my 2 week post partum appt and see what she says. I'm going to be so sad being all the way across the country from DL after it being so close my whole life. :( At least WDW will be "only" a 12 hr drive away... - TickledTink

even in a normal delivery there are stitches to care for and I would not want a strong g force ride putting pressure where it hurts. Always ask you doctor. I do like the "last time at Disney" attitude. - Plumiegirl

Oh my way home from the hospital with number 5 I went to a baseball game and Costco. Then proceeded to continue life as usual. Ladies in the olden days dropped a baby and kept right on working in the fields etc. Women are too soft nowadays! Lol - Katrayher

It's very uncool to laugh at one's own jokes. You can neither see nor hear me - not that it matters because I'm not uncool. - BLG
