Thinking about checking out Downtown Disney while my husband is at the second day of his conference tomorrow. I've never been before- is it worth the time or should I just stay at the hotel to rest up for our last two days at the park? What's awesome there?

I recommend going, especially if you never have, I love it down there!!! I love the Lego store, pin trading station, world of Disney store, disney365, and sooo much more! It's worth walking around, even if just for an hour! - lynniesue42

Def check it out...no greater place to start than the WORLD OF DISNEY STORE...vast and great assortment of Disney merchandise...take time to explore the whole district...you will be glad you did :-) - uscdisneyteacher

I love DTD but even if it wasn't all that great it is still a chance to get outside and not sit in a hotel room all day. Plus you can always head back to be room should you find yourself not liking it much. I love to eat at the Jazz Kitchen and drinks at the Uva Bar is fun. - KissDclown

Nice atmosphere! Head to the Disneyland Hotel for a drink at the bar ie. Lemon Drop Martini (ask for fresh lemon juice) yum - pamntink

It's pretty cool down there. Even if your not shopping you could just browse for a bit. It'll get you outta the hotel room for awhile at least - melissa_ficent

I think you definitely should! Great shopping places there and places to grab a quick bite to eat. Free parking for 2 hours in the DTD lot and 5 hours free with validated parking when eating at one of the restaurants. Why not go? - DisneyBride°O°
