ok does anybody know exactly what I get if I buy the Disney Halloween party tickets for my family? already have ap's and the Disney website seemed kind of vague or maybe I'm having a hard time comprehending.

It is a private Halloween party...each paid guest receives a treat bag to collect treats at stations throughout the park...these events tend to be less crowded than regular park days...there are also event only experiences you may take advantage of, such as pics with villians and other characters, event only Halloween cavalcade, viewing of Halloween Screams fireworks, and dance parties...ultimately, its a very different ambiance and feel during this event...go and enjoy the experience :-) - uscdisneyteacher

It's a separate paid event with limited attendance. All non-ticket holders have to leave. You will have access to rides, trick or treat stations and it's the only way to watch Halloween Screams. - Coaster

you can only go in earlier than the 3 or 4 PM with your AP if you're not in costume. They do give a treat bag but like it was said, it's not very big. You can keep going through the trick or treat line over and over if you want. The fireworks are exclusive only to the party and they are awesome. - TickledTink

Halloween screams are the fireworks show at dland during the Halloween season...it used to be presented to everyone in the parks when dland started celebrating Halloween, but last year, it was only presented during the private event...upset a lot of folks...you will love it :+) - uscdisneyteacher
