Why do ques look smaller than they are??? Like Haunted Mansion it looks like a normal house but inside ts enourmous and I was just wondering how the imagineers make these illusions possible

The haunted mansion is underground, my sin actually got scared and would not go in the elevator so we were escorted down stairs by the headstones to the ride, it was pretty cool! - Havasuprincess
