Qestion. my mom has a hard time walking/standing for long periods of time. we are going to Disneyland this week. will she be able to get some sort of pass?
Rent her a wheelchair and go to city hall to get a guest assistance pass. It's up to the cm what kind of assistance she needs. - SarahInWonderland

Go to city hall and ask them for a guest assistance card or rent a wheelchair. If you go with the GAC just tell them why she needs it - Stitch&Angel

Go to city hall. They have passes. My SIL was also talking to a CM about her mom who's in a wheel chair. He told us that he can give us a pass that we can use that says we can come back after the posted wait time and get right onto the ride. That way she isn't in line for long periods of time. - VeloMouseGirl

@velomousegirl, is that new? Cause sometimes the wheel chair line is longer than the regular line. Never heard of this before. So you go to city hall with the wheel chair and ask for it or you do it at each attraction? - dizzylandjunky

@dizzylandjunky I'd never heard of it before yesterday. It was a CM at midway mania that told us about it. I know the wheelchair line for SM is horrible. It may be for attractions that don't have wheelchair lines. (?) We need to find out more before we take her Mom. - VeloMouseGirl

One of the longest walks for me was to/from the hotel . I recently visited Disneyland after having surgery, and rather than pay $12/day for a wheelchair I could only use at the park, I rented one for the whole week for $25. I didn't use it all the time, but it was great to have it when I needed it. - PrincessKristin

Thank you for the additional information. :-) My SIL's Mom can only go on rides where you don't have to transfer (except maybe soaring. She could probably handle that). Midway Mania is one of the few. - VeloMouseGirl
